Doyle. It's sad that he died so soon. It's even more sad that the actor died as well.

Gage. He could have been waaaay better than Riley ya know, I almost find myself agreeing with this. Could he and Buffy have had something? Would she have been ready to pursue a relationship so soon after Angel? I guess we will never know...But I could definitely see Gage developing feelings for her out of his gratitude. Others I wish hadn't died: Jesse - If he had survived how would this have changed the whole group dynamic? I could totally see Jesse and Xander getting in fights over Buffy. Eddie (from "The Freshman") - He and Buffy could have been friends, but he was a nice guy so of course he was gonna die. Jonathan - Yeah, he was nerd but he was cool and didn't deserve to die. Especially not the way he did. Quentin Travers - Yeah, he was a hard ass but he was cool, one of those characters you love to hate. Would have been nice to see more of him. Doyle - This is a given, but if he hadn't died, we may not have gotten Wesley. Wesley - Wash - His death was completely senseless, in my opinion.

Jesse - Because things would have been alot different and it would be interesting to see what happened.
Jonathan - I don't think he deserved to die as he was trying to make amends.

Who's Gage? The fish guy? I had no idea who Gage was before you said that. But now that I think of it, I totally liked Gage. It was too bad that he turned into a sea monster. Beyond him... Doyle. I liked him a lot. It's too bad about him dying, especially the actor.

Wesley, Doyle and Lindsay. I loved Wesley and Doyle and it really broke me up when they died. I think Lindsay deserved better than he got. At least it seems like Angel could have killed him so he could have gone out with some honor.

^ Oh yeah, how could I forget Lindsay? Yeah, he did some pretty shaddy things over the years, but deep down I think he was a good guy. So sad that he was killed when he was right on the verge of redemption. Sadder still that Lorne had to be the one to off him. Lindsay was always a great antagonist for the A-team. Also fun to see he and Lilah banter back and forth all the time, always in competition with one another. But when they had to work together they made a great team b/c they were two like mind sets. Sad that Lindsay had to meet the ending he did. I think at the core he did not want to be a bad guy. I guess we will never really know if he would have turned over a new leaf after NFA. Would have been neat to see Lindsay become a full-fledged member of Team Angel. I don't think we've even seen him in the comics (well except that one flashback scene). Was hoping he'd make an appearance, at least as a ghost or something.

I thought I was the only person who would mention Lindsay. To me Lindsay was neither good nor evil- merely a troubled young man with a mind of his own who worked out his problems the best he could. Sometimes that meant being evil and sometimes it meant being good. He had shown enough strength, thought enough for himself, and been a worthy enough opponent of Angel to at least garner some respect. I think he was much more Angel than Angel will ever admit. That's why he hated him so much.

My top two are Wesley and Jonathan. I absolutely adored Jonathan and the way he died felt like a betrayal to his character. Wesley dying was just simply painful to go through. I was really rooting for him and then he's dead! So sad.
