Dark Willow episodes.
Seeing Red was good. The 1st of the 3 was good. The others went on for too long, seemed like they had no ending. Bad dialogue and the cheesey crayon ending.
Normal Again gets my second vote. Can't stand it.

I'm not a big fan of Hush. I love the originality, and some parts are absolutely genius (the exposition scene is probably the funniest of the series), but everytime I rewatch the series I just get more and more bored with it. Tabula Rasa, definitely. It's funny, but I don't like that it doesn't fit with the rest of the season. I mean, yeah, it shows that Willow is addicted to magic, and ruins things, and puts people in danger, but...idk, just doesn't feel right to me. That being said, I love Spin the Bottle. It's the same concept, and doesn't fit with the rest of Angel season 4, but IMO it's done better, lol. This too. I don't understand the love for it. I like the Buffy/Giles and Willow/Tara drama, but I find most of the jokes hilariously unfunny.

Thank you. Yes it was an original episode because there was no dialougue hardly, but besides that when people say it one of the best episode ever up there with Chosen and OMWF I wonder what else make this episode good. I mean yeah maybe the Gentlemen, but come on they were just creepy. I just don't think it should be as far up as it is. That's all.

The Season Three two-parter, though higher in quality than the Season Six three-parter, has to be the least involving of all of them. The whole emotional disconnect that runs through most of season three led to a lot of it in the end. 'Splainy? I don't quite get what you mean, and I LOVE Graduation Day, so I have to ask. Well Graduation Day was very well written and produced(except CGI Snake), but I wasn't emotionally connected it to it and still aren't. The emotion is what makes the show for me so when a season finale comes I expect to be pretty much riveted with every sensastion and I didn't get that. Now what I meant was that though they're better episodes than "villians, two to go, and Grave" the latter had me much more invested in what was going on. Did that explain it?

Thanks for the explanation XSF! But I have to disagree with you (not that I can argue that you didn't feel connected, because if you didn't, well, you didn't). I feel like this episode wrapped up the Buffy/Faith story of season 3, and also showed how far Buffy would go for Angel. She was willing to kill Faith for him, which is a huge development for Buffy because she has always been against killing humans. I was shocked and moved by how far she would go. And the scene in part 2 where the school bands together to fight the mayor; that is the culmination of 3 years of Sunnydale High weirdness.

I would have to say Once More With Feeling. I think it's a great episode, but I would say it is a tad over rated.
Most of my favorite episodes aren't even close to being "fan-favorites".

I'm sorry, CourtneyDax, but everytime I look at your avatar, all I can think of is Tara saying "giggity giggity goo!"...It's not flattering >.<

It's hard for me to comment on "overrated" episodes since I am of the opinion that those critically acclaimed eps (Hush, Restless, OMWF, Normal Again, CWDP, etc.) are worthy of all praise they receive.

Restless, it just seems pointless to me. There's no plotline to it. I mean the only two good things were the skanky lesbian scene. And the line that Tara/The First Slayer says at the end. And that's only because it was repeated twice later.

Restless, it just seems pointless to me. There's no plotline to it. There is a plotline to it, but it's sort of a subtle one. The spirit of the First Slayer is pissed at them for their joining-spell, and decides to kill them all in their dreams. It gets Willow, Xander, and Giles, and tho it's never made completely clear, I got the impression that if Buffy hadn't stood up to it and it'd killed her, too, they all would've died for realsies. But that part of the story is really secondary. It's mostly about getting into the characters' heads, examining their fears, and learning more about them. They probably do as much character-development in that one episode as it'd take four 'normal' episodes to accomplish.

It also gives us some more clues about Dawns arrival and foreshadows a few other things. I think Restless is underrated. I never see it get enough love. Really? I've seen it get quite a bit of love and I've always considered it one of the most popular episodes among the fandom. Another overrated episode, I Will Remember You.

I think Restless is underrated. I never see it get enough love. I agree. I just watched Restless and I love that there are so different elements and themes being brought together in an abstract way. I dunno if I've posted before but now I think Conversations With Dead People is definately overrated. It just wasn't as deep or heartwrenching as it should've been.

I can't stand the Dawn-parts of Conversations With Dead People. But Buffy's conversation with the vampire is brilliant. All in all, the episode seems a bit too fragmented to me. And Willow's conversation with Cassie doesn't work for me. I don't like the character Cassie, I don't like the actress. (She is fun in "Bones" though!)
