They pushed back episode 6 too?! Wtf, seriously. I wouldn't mind waiting a month to see part two, actually. It's very dumb to air a promo for something, and then change it... Why are they doing this exactly? It's called "sweeps". Nielsen houses get mailed a diary in which they detail what they watch and when. The data is then aggregated as part of the "People Meter" portion of Nielsen house ratings. So, during this time, the networks pick the shows that get lots of viewers and advertise the heck out of them in order to get viewers. Sweeps is, of course, a great time for Dollhouse to be on exclusively on Fridays, but then FOX probably thinks it doesn't need a Friday night winner anyway. It's all very confusing, I only know what I know. I KNOW WHAT I KNOW!

The SciFi UK website still has the episodes scheduled to be shown...don't know if it's simply a mistake or whether we'll get them first?

Look on the bright side, U.S. viewers - six new episodes of Dollhouse in December.

Joss should try Canada - after all BSG was filmed here. Also the various Stargates. Our Space channel airs all of them. And...is going to start airing True Blood (first season) imagine the line up we could have. And, it's less expensive to film in Canada. plus we share stuff so US viewers should be able to see the episodes.
If not Canada - then the UK - they have great shows and seem to have the backing - look at Torchwood, Dr. Who, The Prisoner...non of them would have lasted more than a season on US Network TV. Let's see if the new The Prisoner lasts - I don't remember which Network is airing it. Plus if it will meet or exceed Patrick McGoohan's version, but we will see.

That's an interesting idea... Joss making a series for the BBC, or the CBC. That means American audiences would have to wait to see it, though, and wouldn't be guaranteed of ever seeing it.
I think there are troublesome union rules that make this difficult, though... the BBC doesn't want to become a "summer stock" company for disgruntled American producers.

Except that the beeb turned down Dollhouse and Julie Gardner fudged big time on Ripper.

It wouldn't be the CBC that would do it. It would have to be Space (see spacecast.com) which is owned by Moses Znaimer. Of course the US would get it as it would make money for Space. The US got Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SGI, Stargate Antlantis and doesn't the US get the new Stargate? I mentioned the BBC because of the shows we have seen here (BBC Canada). Perhaps they aren't doing the same things anymore. I wanted to offer alternatives. US dollars go a lot farther in Canada and the rates of things are cheaper. Smallville is filmed here as are a lot of shows.

A Dollhouse inspired album is a pretty creative idea and I sincerely hope it goes well them. Right about now I wish I had some kind of musical talent. Oh well, I guess I will just have to wait and see what everyone else comes up with.
