I have to say that I would have loved to see Giles and Xander swap bodies. Aside from that I think Oz swapping bodies with anyone would be awesome. I would have loved some Oz swapage.

I just thought of a great one, I would have loved to see Oz and Cordelia swap bodies. That would have been torture for both of them. Can you imagine Cordelia being trapped in Oz's life and vice versa. Classic!

... I'm shocked. No one considered Spike and Riley swapping bodies?! Imagine season five when they hate each other, but Spike wants to be in Buffy's pants! If (like Faith) he got a Hand of Gemini and used it on Riley and they swapped bodies, who would know? Spike would be the (human) loving boyfriend and Riley would be a Vampire with a chip in his head. I think it could be one of the best darn things that could have happened on the show. Plus, if it was fixed, consider Ruffy's relationship- would it become completely alienated? Who knows? I thik it would have made for some great storytelling, and actually considered it as a fanfiction idea for some time, before dropping the idea.
I have a question though - consider that; the idea of a human swapping bodies with a vampire. I'm taking that their souls or essences are swapping. Does that mean that The Human in a Vampire's body would feel the lack of a conscience? Or would it be just like an ensouled!vampire??

Their reactions to being in each other's bodies and lives would be priceless as well. I guess the human probably feel the same as they did in their own body but would have to deal with that in the life of the vampire. It would be odd and unpleasant to him to think of living in the crypt or drinking blood, but I think he would still feel like Riley. |

I think that idea could have worked. At first I thought "Oh dear God, Spike and Buffy would have lots of sex, Bufy would find out the truth and feel abused, EWW!"
But actually, this could have worked out that Spike would have been really close to ending up in bed with her, but in the last minute, he decides he doesn't want to use her that way (for a noble reason hopefully, or maybe just because he thinks she'll find out anyway).
That way, lots of fun could be had, with the bodyswapping issues, but I wouldn't have to cry at the end of the episode.
