I have a question...
did Dollhouse Season One DVD Set do well? Like, sell well I mean.
If so, if FOX were to cancel Dollhouse could they maybe keep it on as a DVD release. Allow Joss to make more seasons maybe not as many episodes - maybe 6-8 (like with English tv shows) per season. If season one sold well then you know we could make sure any future seasons would sell well.
I wonder if they would be up to that idea. If ratings aren't doing that well but online views and dvd sells are good why not go the route that is going to make the most money if ratings may not ever change outside of what they currently are.

Well, I went to the mall a few weeks ago, and Dollhouse Season 1 was still on the top 20 box sets elling as of now. It was at number 18 then, don't know if it has moved up or down as of now.

Actually the DVD sales were pretty mediocre, only selling around 60,000 the first week and then falling off the sales chart altogether. That's pretty low for television DVD sets, most sell a lot more, even cable shows. Prison Break and Terminator, Dollhouse's lead-ins, also sold more. Click here.
