I apologize if I'm saying something that everyone else has already realized....OR if this is already a topic (I couldn't find it anywhere, though.....)
Anyway, I guess I already realized something to this effect, but tonight I realized that there's a very good chance Victor's reason for coming to the Dollhouse was because he came back from the Iraq War with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder?

Maybe he had a near-death experience? Or was taken prisoner? And he came to the Dollhouse so they would erase the horrible memories from his time in the military?
It would explain why he keeps flashing back to his time in the military. It's also sort of why those memories won't leave him---sort of like Sierra's rape. In fact, if you think about it, PTSD is sort of the whole basis behind what happened to Echo, Victor, Sierra and November in "Echoes."
