I'm grading these on a Buffyverse curve. Buffy
Season 1: 5/10
Season 2: 6/10 (Angelus, Spike and Dru are fantastic but most of the standalones lead to a lower score from me)
Season 3: 10/10
Season 4: 6/10 (opposite of season 2. Standalones are great this season, but Adam is very blah)
Season 5: 9/10
Season 6: 7/10
Season 7: 8/10 (i always ignore how rushed this season and story is, because the overall feel from the characters and the main plot just sits really well with me.
Angel
i've only watched Angel once through and it was about a year ago now, so any scores i give would just be very rough guesses from what main bits i remember
so i'm not gonna score until i get the DVDs and watch them a lot

Great scores. You like season 7. Yep. I really like season seven. It seems a little different than the other seasons. I think it has alot less humour for sure but I still love it. I also love, love, love season one, yet everyone else is rating it low  |

I like season 1 .
Its just less episode unlike the others.
And season 7 was epic.I loved the first evil..

The first season is very good, but I would probably regard the fifth season as my fave. I think all seasons have their shining moments though. It is definitely worth getting, imo. |

Buffy: season seven* = 6 out of 10 season six = 7 out of 10 season five = 9 out of 10season four* = 7 out of 10 season three = 8 out of 10 season two = 8 out of 10 season one = 7 out of 10 * not my favourite seasons but both have some of the best episodes in the whole show (imo). Angel: season five = 9 out of 10 season four = 4 out of 10. Really, it's a train-wreck. season three = 6 out of 10 season two = 8 out of 10 season one = 8 out of 10 Urrgh - grading is harrrrrrrrrrrrrrrd! i've never graded something like this before. i wouldn't give anything a 10, that's just me, everything has SOME flaw. Hell i LIKE that things aint perfect. i have no idea what grade i'd give the comics - but Angel S6 leaves me a bit detached (i never felt season five needed continuing, it's the best finale of any show ever). whereas Buffy8 is mostly my crack! |
