Tweedy Giles, after knowing that the Ripper Giles was under there.

2. Do you think he's sexy?
Yea.

3. Do you like him better with Joyce, Jenny or Olivia?
Jenny, but I would have kind of liked to have seen him with Joyce too. Think it would have been shortlived though.

4. What is your favorite Giles moment?
When he told Buffy that what had happened between her and Angel hadn't lessened her in his eyes. I loved that scene and I think it showed how much he truly loved and respected her.

5. What is your least favorite Giles moment?
When he and Principal Wood tried to kill Spike.

6. What is your favorite episode featuring Giles?
Innocence

Lies My Parents Told Me

8. Did you hate it in Helpless when he gave Buffy that drug to make her helpless?
It made up for it when he told her what was going on and told her how sorry he was and also when that Quinton guy told Buffy that Giles saw her as too much of a daughter. I loved that so it made up for how scary the rest was.

9. Do you think if he'd been compassionate with Faith that Buffy would have been?
Not really, maybe it would have started that way, but Faith did too many things to Buffy personally. That had to take some time.

10. Do you think he should have been?
I think it's understandable that he wasn't but I'm glad Angel was there to do it. It's not everybody's place to love someone or to try to help them, as long as there are people who do want to. We only need to be fair with each other and the rest has to work itself out. Angel was the only person who COULD do it.

11. How would you describe Giles?
Certainly smart, dedicated, very mature, able to make the hard decisions, able to stand on his own no matter who will back him and loving.

Definitely tweed Giles, he's classic!

Yes, I think Giles is very attractive for an older gentleman; very distinguished.

I loved he and Jenny together, they were so cute. Also liked the idea of he and Joyce getting together. "Band Candy" was a hilarious episode for the two of them.

4. What is your favorite Giles moment?
When he told Buffy that what had happened between her and Angel hadn't lessened her in his eyes. I loved that scene and I think it showed how much he truly loved and respected her. <-------- Aww, I love this moment, too! Also, his speech to Buffy at the end of Lie to Me, this moment always gets me. His badass enterance at the end of Two to Go, "I'd like to test that theory." His beautiful reconciliation with Buffy (Flooded?) when she comes back from the grave. All of Band Candy, Ripper is awesome! His words to Willow in Lessons, "In the end we all are who we are, no matter how much we appear to have changed." Giving Buffy the check in Life Serial, telling her "no father could be prouder," rushing to Buffy after Joyce has died and embracing her. Gah! So many fave moments, I love Giles!

5. What is your least favorite Giles moment?
Conspiring with Principal Wood to kill Spike. The fact that he would do this behind Buffy's back has always bugged me!

6. What is your favorite episode featuring Giles?
Band Candy, OMWF (love his singing), The Dark Ages (cool for Giles backstory ), Lie to Me (his speech to Buffy at the end), Two to Go (his badass appearance at the end ), Tabula Rasa, Lessons, etc,.

7. What is your least favorite episode featuring Giles?

8. Did you hate it in Helpless when he gave Buffy that drug to make her helpless?
I did. I remember watching this for the first time and thinking "what the hell is he doing?" It was so shocking and I didn't know what was going on. Luckily he did the right thing at the end, which really showed just how much he had grown to love and care for Buffy not just as his charge, but like a daughter, so much so that he would be willing to sacrifice his own job to keep her safe. The end scene where he is just cleaning her wounds is a beautiful moment for the two of them, so touching.

9. Do you think if he'd been compassionate with Faith that Buffy would have been?
I think he did try to be understanding with her at first. He tried to get Buffy to give Faith a chance. And when Faith turned to the dark side, it was he and Buffy who wanted to help her in their own way without involving the council. In the end though, I think Giles realized that Faith was too far gone, and simply needed more help than they had the means to provide.

10. Do you think he should have been?
See above. It seemed fitting that Angel was the one to reach out to her, since he could relate to her in a lot of ways.

11. How would you describe Giles?
Super intelligent but sometimes has trouble understanding the more mundane things in life, dedicated, loyal to a fault, sometimes thinks with his heart instead of his head; allows emotion to get in the way sometimes, for both the good and the bad.

I love tweed Giles, but I do wish we could have seen alot more Ripper

Yeah.

3. Do you like him better with Joyce, Jenny or Olivia?
He was good great with all of them, but prefer him with Jenny. That could have been something more.

4. What is your favorite Giles moment?
When he came back at the end of Two to go. Classic moment.

5. What is your least favorite Giles moment?
When he tried to kill Spike, tsk tsk tsk.

A New Man Him and Spike tag teaming is awesome

It did suck that he did that, but in the end it showed his true feelings for Buffy which was more than Watcher/Slayer.

9. Do you think if he'd been compassionate with Faith that Buffy would have been?
No.

10. Do you think he should have been?
I think he shuold have been more compassionate. She was a slayer in trouble in need of guidance.

11. How would you describe Giles?
Very smart, very mature, very compassionate, and very brave.

Joyce and I wish they would have done more with that.

When he distracted Buffy so Principal Wood could kill Spike or in Helpless when he injects her to take away the slayer powers. Both of those moments make me hate him for a little while.

Yes I did. It made him seem less trustworthy after that and he didn’t even listen to her hints about the ice show either which made it all the worse for me.

9. Do you think if he'd been compassionate with Faith that Buffy would have been?
I think she might have been more compassionate, but not completely.

10. Do you think he should have been?
Yes I do. He could have helped her and maybe even prevented her from deciding to go to work for the Mayor. It seemed to work with the Major so well because he was father figure type so Giles could have been that for her instead.

Intelligent, emotionally strong, versatile

No, he can be cute sometimes though.

He was great with Jenny, I loved their constant arguing about books/computers.

When he conspired with Wood to kill Spike.

Yeah, I kept think "Giles come on think about the situation, this is not a good thing to do, don't just blindly follow orders."

No, Faith kind of earned the tratment that she got.

10. Do you think he should have been?
I think it's understandable that he was not. It's always better when people are compassionate, but I think I would have understood and liked it equally either way.

11. How would you describe Giles?
Smart, fatherly, protective, helpful, thinker.

Tweed Giles, but I loved when he got rough and Ripper like. But uf he had been like that all the time, it wouldn't have felt special.

Yes.

With Jenny, oh God, they we're so sweet and awkward together. A mismatch that could have worked.

4. What is your favorite Giles moment?
Showing up and saving Buffy from Dark Willow. Best entry ever.

When he tried to kill Spike. Or when he helped get Buffy kicked out.

Becoming part 2, but not because of him.

When Buffy gets kicked out of the house I guess.

I certainly didn't love it. He always seemed to reasonable, it wasn't until then I realized what a sick organization he was working for. I'm very glad he choose Buffy's side in the end.

He was compassionate with Faith, wasn't he? I don't think I get this question. In what situation.

11. How would you describe Giles?
A mature older man, in many ways fitting the tweed-wearing English stereotype (drinking tea, easy to judge modern culture and with a silent dry humour), but he's also kind of cool, and a strong warrior.

Going behind Buffy's back trying to kill Spike and Empty Places. Giles seemed so OOC in S7.

Yes but I wasn't mad at Giles for long.

He was compassionate with Faith in the beginning but Faith made her own bed. I don't think Buffy and Faith will ever get along. They just don't click.

I believe he was. He even told Buffy not to comfort Faith after she tried to frame her. He didn't call the council. Giles and Buffy tried to help but Faith didn't want help at the time.

11. How would you describe Giles?
Smart, Strict & sometimes Stiff.
