What do you mean by "sides"? Everybody's on their own side, with their own set of beliefs and understandings about their powers. ![:)](http://premium1.uploadit.org/Flipsidephilly/emotes/smile.gif) I felt Season 3 was overall rather strong, compared to Season 2 which was lackluster. Volume 4 in particular is outstanding work.

Yeah, the distinction isn't really there, the whole "Heroes/Villains" thing for Volume 3 was mostly an advertising gimmick. I still think it was a good overall season though. Yes, Season One is outstanding. It's on my list of "seasons of television you simply cannot take for granted, you have to watch them for yourself". ![:P](http://premium1.uploadit.org/Flipsidephilly/emotes/tongue.gif) Season Four is getting back to this level of story, though - and everybody's acting has improved thank goodness. ![:P](http://premium1.uploadit.org/Flipsidephilly/emotes/tongue.gif)

I didn't watch much of season three so can't comment much on that. Although my reason for not watching much of season three is that I got bored during season two, it was pretty crappy.
On the other hand I love season one. I am going to catch up on three soon so I can understand 4. I like to give things a second chance but season two dissapointed me soooo much .

Volume 1 > Volume 4 > Volume 2 >>>>>>>>>>>>> Volume 3
Volume 5 has been decent so far, I like that they are just focusing on the characters now and not some world ending event.

Alot of Heroes fans felt that Season 3 didn't do well because of those 2 ex-producers who refused to continue with the characters' storyline....mainly due to their creative differences and budget issues. It caused season 3 to loose viewers. Now with season 4...volume 5, the viewers stayed steady in the 5 million spot and after episode 8 came, it went up to 6.18 million viewers. I'm sure we'll get season 5 which most likely would be the last one anyways unless that season goes well next year....perhaps season 6 to make up for the strike.
If I was to rank from best to least:
1. Volume 1 2. Volume 5 3. Volume 4 4. Volume 2 (yeah, it was a bit rushed and short due to the strike) 5. Volume 3

Volume One is going to go down as one of those "greatest times in television" type things. It's too good to pass up. ![:)](http://premium1.uploadit.org/Flipsidephilly/emotes/smile.gif)
