Just noticed these while rewatching Seasons 2 and 3:
-- In "Innocence," when Xander is impersonating a soldier to steal weapons, the music that plays -- at least for the first few bars -- is strikingly similar to the music from the "Go Army" commercials. (I don't actually know how long the Army has been using that music -- if it was after 1998, then it's obviously just a coincidence, but if it was before 1998, I bet the composer for that episode was having a little fun.)
-- In "Amends," the music that plays at the end of the episode has a few bars that sound exactly like the overture version of "Going Through the Motions" from "Once More With Feeling." (It begins around 42:36, when the "magic snow" montage switches from Joyce and Faith to Giles.) I assume that's just because Christophe Beck scored both episodes.
Anybody else have any fun soundtrack moments?
