Ok, my favourite ever scene in Buffy is where Buffy and Dawn collapse into each other's arms in the final scene of Forever (for a more detailed explanation as to why see my review of the ep which we're currently discussing on the Buffytune part of this forum)
What about you? What's the scene that maybe you favour above all others and why? Doesn't have to be the classics, just the one that means most to you

There's too many, but one I like in particular for its foreshadowing qualities happens in "The Harvest". Cordelia and Harmony b*tch about Buffy in the computer room, working on something that seems not to take too much attention ;-) Here's how the scene goes:
Harmony: Did you hear about her old school?
Cordelia and the boy both shake their heads.
Harmony: Booted.
Cordelia: Well, I exhibit no surprise.
Boy: Why was she kicked out?
Cordelia: Uh, because she's a psycho loony!
Willow: (interjects) No, she's not.
Cordelia: What?
Willow: (turns to them) She's not a psycho. You don't even know her.
Cordelia: Excuse me? Who gave you permission to exist?
Willow turns away, eyes down.
Cordelia: Do I horn in on your private discussions? No. Why? Because you're boring.
Willow gets up and goes to get her printouts.
Harmony: Okay, I think the program's done.
Cordelia: Finally the nightmare ends! Okay, so how do we save it?
Willow: Deliver.
Cordelia: Deliver? Where's that? (searches the keyboard) Oh!
She hits the "Del" key, and her program disappears. She stares at the screen in wide-eyed, open-mouthed horror. ##########
Already here Willow exhibits or revenge-prone personality! And I must say, I was so totally satisified with their deleting the program ;-)

I like how every plot had a realistic theme to them. But for me i love the scene in chosen when Buffy quoted her aggression to the first and said get out of my face, so epic.

It goes where, you're the one who's not *my* sister. 'Cause mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you 'cause it could hurt your delicate baby feelings. Buffy: That's your theory? Dawn: Explains your fashion sense... and smell. Dawn: Come on. Who's the man? Buffy: You are. A very short, annoying man. [Dawn kicks Buffy in the shin] Buffy: Ow. Dawn: Dumbass.

Finally I found somebody who also appreciates the delete/deliver-scene! Oh, and what about Willow and Cordy at the end of School Hard:
### Cordelia is kneeling in prayer. Willow stares at her in disbelief.
Cordelia: And if you get me out of this, I swear I'll never be mean to anyone ever again. Unless they *really* deserve it. Or if it's that time of the month, in which case I don't think you or anyone else can hold me responsible...
Willow: Ask for some aspirin.
Cordelia: And can you please send some asp... Hey! ###
Just awsome!!

One of my favorite scenes from Buffy that I think I only like is from The Yoko Factor when Angel and Buffy talk. Buffy: (angry) Okay. I come to see you, to help you, and you treat me like I'm just . . . your ex. Angel: Well, technically-- Buffy: Shut up! And then you order me out of *your* city and then you come here and start pounding on my boyfriend?! I would really like to know what the HELL are you trying to do?!. Angel: I was trying to make things better. She regards his sincere expression and can't keep herself from laughing. It becomes contagious because Angel can't help but to smile also. Angel: Heh. Well. (chuckles) It's a . . . going pretty good, don't you think? Buffy is leaning against the wall. Buffy: (smiling) Swell. Angel: You know-- heh. (seriously) I couldn't leave it like that. The way I spoke to you-- I came to apologize. I . . I had no right. Buffy: And Riley? Angel: I got jumped by some soldiers. He came in in the middle. And wasn't real forthcoming with the benefit of the doubt. Buffy: Put yourself in his place. Angel does consider this. Angel: I get it. Buffy is looking down at the floor. Buffy: Look . . . You weren't entirely wrong, what you said in L.A. (she meets his eyes) We don't live in each other's worlds anymore. I had no right to barge in on yours and make judgments. Angel: I'm still sorry. Buffy: Thank you. Angel: And, next time . . I'll apologize by phone. (Buffy laughs softly) Uh, things are pretty tense around here. Buffy rests her head back tiredly. Buffy: They really are. Angel: Can I do anything? Buffy: Honestly . . . I think the best thing you can do right now is-- Angel: (understandingly) Okay. Buffy: It means a lot that you came. Angel just looks at her for a moment then starts walking down the hall. Buffy his heading to her door when Angel turns around again. Angel: Oh, and . . . Riley. Buffy: Yeah? Angel: I don't like him. Buffy smiles. Buffy: Thank you

Mine was a scene in Graduation Day part 2 where Buffy's in the volcanololo-something or the other -gist's office and Angel walks in and just trips. I thought my eyes were decieving me so I rewinded it and watched it again , then watched it again, then watched it again.

I love all these scenes too! Especially the baby howler monkeys one and the deliver key. But I have often wondered if that scene where Angel trips is just a blooper they left in. It seems to real to be scripted and the look on his face after is priceless. One of my faves is in Crush where Spike invites Buffy on his fake stake-out, and they are sitting in his car and he passes her a flask. She says "Ewww" and he says it's bourbon, not blood and when she says "EeeWW" the second time...ahahaha that kills me every time. Pretty much that whole episode just cracks me up. Also when Buffy tells Spike she just saw him taste his own noseblood after she hits him in the nose cracks me up.

My favorite scene *ever* is the one near the end of The Yoko Factor where all the Scoobies are arguing. I've watched this about 20 times, and I'm still not tired of it! Comedy gold.

Wow... so many!
One joke that always cracks me up way more than anyone else is Buffy's birthday (5th season??) when Tara and Willow get her a dress and Anya says "Oh, I wish it were mine.... don't look at me that way you were all thinking it," and then Giles says "I certainly was not. I have one just like it."
LMFAO every time!!!

I always loved the little moment in The Gift when Anya tells Xander about the engagment ring "Give it to me when the world doesn't end". I tear up everytime, it's just one of the most heartfelt and beautiful things I've ever heard.

One scene I can think of off the top of my head: The end of "Choices," I believe, when Willow is informing Buffy that she will in fact be staying to attend college at UC Sunnydale. I love it when Buffy says to Will, "I kinda love you." And the two are so happy that they will be going off to college together. So happy, in fact, that they decide to "go to the Expresso Pump and get sugared up on mochas." I just really love that whole scene, it says a lot about their friendship. ;D There's too many, but one I like in particular for its foreshadowing qualities happens in "The Harvest". Buffy's " Are you ready to be strong?" speech in "Chosen", with the montage of girls around the world getting their powers. That to me just sums up the entire show and it's soooo empowering. Even though I'm not even female I feel totally uplifted and stronger after watching that scene. Also, Willow's " It's a good fight Buffy and I want in" scene in "Choices". To me, that's a hugely pivotal moment in Willow's character arc that often gets forgotten or ignored. That's when she stops being a "slayerette" and becomes a full-fledged individual with her own mission in life. Pretty much everything we see her do afterwards stems from that scene. It was also a nice contrast to be Buffy's "woe is me, I'm the Chosen one" attitude... here's someone who chooses to be a Champion even though it's not their sacred destiny (though for somewhat narcisistic reasons in Willow's case... she craves power and respect at all costs). One scene I can think of off the top of my head: The end of "Choices," I believe, when Willow is informing Buffy that she will in fact be staying to attend college at UC Sunnydale. Buffy coming in her window and finding Angel in her room holding Mr. Gordo. She asks him, "Just dropping by for quality time with Mr. Gordo?" Shows Angel and he's rubbing the stuffed pig. If I hadn't absolutely loved him before, that would have settled it.

Buffy VS Dracula: Xander: "Nice! Look who's got a bad case of Dark Prince envy." Dracula: "I have no interest in you. Leave us." Xander: "No, we're not going to leave you. And where'd you get that accent, Sesame Street? Von, two, three... three victims. Mwah, hahahhaha!" Something Blue: Buffy: "So. You saw their faces, But you can't describe them." Spike: "Well, They were human. Two eyes each,Kind of in the middle." Spike: "I'm trying to remember. It was very traumatic." Buffy: "How long are you gonna pull this crap?" Spike: "How long am I gonna live once I tell you?" Giles: "Spike, We have no intention of harming a harmless, um, creature." Giles: "We can't let you go until we're sure that your impotant or.." Spike: "Hey!" Giles: "Sorry, Poor choice of words. Until we know that you're.." Buffy: "Flaccid?" Spike: "You are one step away, missy!" Buffy: "Giles, Help! He's gonna scold me!" Buffy: "Maybe we made it a little too comfy in here for you." Spike: "Comfy? I'm chained in a bathtub, Drinking pigs blood from a novelty mug. That doesn't rate huge in the zagats guide." Buffy: "Oh, look at my poor neck...all bare and tender and exposed. All that blood, Just pumping away." Giles: "Oh, Please." Spike: "Giles, Make her stop!" Giles: "If those two don't kill eachother, I might lend a hand" and loads more

I love the scene in "I Only Have Eyes For You" when Buffy and Angelus are acting out the death scene in Sunnydale High. Switching the roles of the Female Teacher Grace as Angel and the student as Buffy added such a great twist to this scene.

It's beautiful and so so sad because you know it hurt Buffy to do that and see Angel's reaction when he came back to himself.
