My friend (also named Jess) made a film for one of her education subjects at Uni. I'm not posting it for intelligent film critique or anything! We are both amateurs and it was more for fun than for making a film per se. Her assignment at uni was about how to teach students to express themselves and issues around them. She chose to present hers in film, explaining that making a film with as little dialogue as possible, would make students think about what they really wanted to be saying with each picture. I am in this film (the girl in all the shots... lol) and yes I look totally feral in it! I don't have a good side But I thought I'd share it with you anyway... so if you want to watch it Edit: Thought I'd mention, my group calls themselves 'The Scoobies' which stemmed from my Buffy-obsession...hehe I love how they indulge me! So that's why Jess made the film a "Scoobie Production" hahahaha.

Thanks for showing us.
Mainly good choice of songs (maybe a more green day-like song for the third song would have beedn better).
Hehe, Scoobies...

I like it too. Looks very professional and I like the premise that you have to decide what you think is happening. You make a good actress too.

Jess, that's so cute! I loved the first song--what is it? I loved the Foo fighters bit of music:] It looked like you really snapped your ankle or something when you fell, I was all "Eeek she's hurt!" when it happened.
Cute ending, as well:)

First song is These Photographs - Joshua Radin And Foo fighters are the best! Haha I practised that falling down bit upwards of 10 times without Jess filming any of it! My leg really was sore by the end of the day. I am such a clutz anyway it was pretty real. hehe.

Aww... that was cute. The ending made me smile. Was that the person you were looking for in the auditorium? I loved that opening scene too-- something about driving on a sunny day while listening to good music I guess! Thanks for showing us.

Thanks for watching Cakes ^_^
the auditorium thing was suppose to look like me being late for a lecture, so late the room is empty! We wanted to get some people leaving the room to show it was over, but couldnt get people's legal consent so it was too hard.

^^ Ah... I see. Well for me at least, it seemed like a love story where you were thinking about that guy, and rushed to see if he was still in the auditorium, only to find he was gone. And then by chance, you drop your books and look who's there to help you pick them up? Love of your life. I'm a romantic, what can I say?

That was really good. It looked really professional! And I loved how I could recognize all the roads you were driving on at the beginning. Adelaidians ftw.

Noo, I haven't been to Flinders. I was going to go to the open day last year, but my friend actually managed to get swine flu the day before and it was too far for me to make the trip myself. lol.
