Is George still pissed? Ahw.
Poor Gunn, I can't imagine to be in a coma and dream about things like that.

Its tough to think about why George is there. I think maybe he is lost with himself after everything went back to normal and maybe realises that he belongs with the group, whether they are spaced out or not. He probably just tried to tell himself that he was going there for revenge, but Im pretty sure being a telepath, he can see what a big heart Gunn has and wants to help him cope....or wake him the hell up.
And actually, upon looking at the picture again, maybe George is showing him those things while he is in the coma just to punish him.

COMICS CONTINUUM posted a little blurb about what is coming up soon with Angel. Nothing new about #23, but they did post the Franco's finished cover for the issue:

Solicitation released today for Angel #23 (cover already in first post):
ANGEL #23
Written by Brian Lynch, art by Franco Urru, covers by Urru and Nick Runge.
Since returning from Hell, Gunn has lain incapacitated, near death. Looking over him is Illyria, torn by a need to make him pay for his crimes and a compulsion to protect him. But what will she do when a threat from the pages of Spike: After the Fall causes them both to evaluate whether it's better to be good... or evil?
32 pages, $3.99.
Sounds pretty great. Illyria may be getting more development in this issue too, it seems. Can't wait.

Yay for moral issues! Sounds wicked good, very happy Illyria will be featured. It'll be interesting to see how they both interact, I always wanted to see more of that. I love their "try not to die" moment in Not Fade Away.

I was going to post the cover a couple of days ago when I found it but forgot. This is a slightly better quality version:

Man am I excited for this issue. I must say I feel as though I took Lynch's writing for granted when reading After the Fall and now I want him back!
I have to admit, I have barely read any of Spike: After the Fall after purchasing it, but may have to. I no the villain they're talking about, and i thought it was not possible because of a spoiler.....for those who haven't read it...but anyways....
Gunn's character took a great turn in ATF and hopefully this issue will be AWESOME.

Oh man this issue looks so awesome! Just looking at a single uncolored page evokes all the awesomeness of After the Fall. I hate to admit it, but I'm so not into Aftermath.....I'm reading them just in case I should miss something that'll turn up later, but I'm pretty much marking time until Brian's return. George is reading Gunn's nightmares.... I'll bet that's just a bit conflicting for him. Hey Brian, if you can't come back and write Angel full time, what with the new Spike series (and hey, no problem with that! ) and everything else on your plate - how would you feel about executive producing Angel like Joss does with Buffy? I know it's a lot to ask, and not your decision anyway, but I (and I think a lot of other fans) trust you with Angel's story more than anyone else except maybe Joss, and frankly if it's continue to degenerate without you, I'd rather just see it end. I can write IDW. Every day, twice a day. I'm a Browncoat, stubborn campaigning is what I do. So.....wanna be our mastermind? Pretty please?

Oh I've missed this feeling of excitement for Angel issues. Really looking forward to this. The art looks fantastic and it's awesome how so much was related in just two pages of artwork.

Looking good. But I am never going to warm up to the art as much as Stephen Mooney and Nick Runge work.... ( their work is gold!!!)

I'm so excited for this! I'm not sure why George is there either. I understand him still being upset over the whole After The Fall situation but I believe that he's more mature than that. He can obviously read his mind and all that and so I think after all that Gunn's been through, he'll be sympathetic to Gunn. Illyria is SO boss!

Illyria spearing that demon is freakin' cool! She's so badass, her episodes in the series were awesome and she translates very well to comics. Im glad they are showing how bad ass she really is.
I feel bad for Gunn, but when Gunn was a vampire, he was one of those badass vamps like A,D,D&S. We needed some of those.

Hi there! I got a really important, also very Stupid Question.. Ok, I´m from Germany and i´m in some other Forums there. In one of them there is a guy, calling hisself Spike and he´s totally obsessed by Spuffy! *omg* So far, so well.. It´s ok for me, but (!!) from the first Issue of the Buffy Comics, he told us, that there will be a Spuffy Reunion in "Buffy Season 8 Comics" ... LOL He does for every month, with every Issue, but ooookay. Now we are really far with Buffy and.. Oh god, No Spuffy Reunion.. Oh no!! (Hope u understand my sarcasm)
NOW, he blames hisself totally..Today he told me, there will be a Spuffy Reunion in Angel´s "Become what you are" ROFLMAO
he isn´t right, is he?? Become what u are, is just about Gunn, right? No rumors from the heads "behind the Scenes" that there will be a reunion from Spike and Buffy or Buffy and Angel....
Please tell me. I know it´s totally stupid, but i need a proof, so i can show him!

There won't be a Spuffy reunion in #23 or any Angel comics. Buffy is staying on her own title (Season 8). If there is a Buffy and Spike reunion, it would happen on Dark Horse's end, most likely.
