www.tmz.com/I am still not sure how true this is... it is very sad if it is true, I really like her and so many of her films.

That's a shame. I wonder if she had a similar problem that Andy did? Either way, 32 is way too young. She hadn't done much recently, but she was alway pretty good in whatever she was in.
R.I.P.
(Moved this to the Bronze since that is where we have posted deaths in the past.)

This is very sad. Not a fan of most of her films, but she had a lot of charisma and was always fun to watch, whether it was comedy or drama. R.I.P.

I was a fan of many of her films, and I'm a huge King of the Hill fan. And her death reminds me a lot of Andy Hallet's.

I hope that it wasn't drug-related, which is what a lot of the media outlets are saying... this is too sad, regardless. My first thought was that she had some cardiac defect that was never picked up

Wow, that's really a shame. RIP. Can't say I was overly fond of her, but she was talented, and really young. Too many people dying to young anymore.

I couldn't beilieve this when I heard it. Too many young people are dying and it's a shame. I heard she suffered cardiac arrest and all I could think was seriously at her age. So sad. R.I.P.

I wasn't really a fan of hers, but it is still sad regardless. My heart goes out to all the family, friends, and fans who are grieving for her. So tragic to lose someone at such a young age. RIP Brittany Murphy. You will be missed.

I love her in Clueless, Riding in Cars with Boys, 8 Mile, Just Married, Sin City, Futurama: The Beast with a Billion Backs and King of the hill. I also really wanted to see her in The Expendables with Charisma Carpenter but I heard her scenes were cut .

Clueless is one of my favorite moves in part to Brittany Murphy's Tai. "Rollin' with the homies..." Such a tragedy.

This is just so surreal. I just felt heartbroken. She was so young. My condolences to her friends and family.

I was very surprised when I heard of her death. I guess she had been struggling for a while now with an eating disorder and drug addiction; she was fired from a job a couple weeks ago (SNL made fun of her for it).
Very tragic. I love her acting, and she was such a young beauty. My thoughts are with her friends and family.
