Hubba hubba? Wasn't it just implied that they had a history?
I wouldn't bet on that Willow's innocent, but it's possible that we're just suppose to assume she's cheating.

I don't know, I think Willow being naked with her legs spread as Saga references them being all hubba hubba in the past is a bit beyond implication. Well, it was pretty clear that Willow was in mid-orgasm in that panel, and was in the same position she had been in a split-second before in Kennedy's company. It was more a testament to Willow/Ken love, although SV seemed to be enjoying the show quite a bit. The vision in "Anywhere But Here" is the only panel where we saw Willow and SV behaving in an amorous way toward each other, in what seemed to be post-coital bliss. See, this stuff is why I nominate season 8 for the Sexiest Buffy Season Award. Easily.

Although, it'll have to be very sexy to beat episodes like "Smashed" and "Where the Wild Things Are". Bahaha

Yay for Willow one-shot! Not so sure about Malone's art, though. I don't recall liking it very much in TOYL. I really prefer Jeanty's artwork, personally. He draws Willow and all the other characters to a tee, imo. He brings his own style to the characters, yet you can still tell who they are. I don't care much for Malone's depiction of Willow, Buffy, etc. And i too am wondering who this mystery co-writer will be. I like all suggestions I have heard so far, but I think it would be great if Marti joined in! We haven't seen anything from her in S8 thus far and she is one of my fave Buffy writers. Marti and Joss, plus Willow one-shot would be awesomeness!

Im really excited for this actually, as I really like when plot holes or just unanswered questions are tied up eventually, which I feel the Saga Vasuki thing really needed to be.

Oh damn. Moline is definitely doing the art. Sigh.
The one thing that always bugged me was that Jeanty always had Willow with shoulder length hair and then all of a sudden, Moline made it long. Wtf was that?
Anyway, I think the only reason I'd have to pick it up is if Tara's in it.
I feel like Willow has gotten so OOC since season 8, I don't know if I could enjoy this.

I feel like Willow has gotten so OOC since season 8, I don't know if I could enjoy this. That's probably the reason Joss makes this comic, so the fans can re-connect with Willow and sympathize with her again. Maybe she acts very in character, but since we don't know what's she thinking, this issue might be necassary.

Isn't the point for Willow to act OOC right now? That's a major part of the story. And thinking about it, what Willow is doing now is pretty IN character.

I love Moline's art, it's so vibrant. He draws comic book characters and not actors, which is why I like him. I love the panel in #19 where Buffy kills Willow, it's incredibly powerful. I've not seen anything from Willow this season that's out of character. However, because her storyline is shrouded in secrecy, I'm having trouble understanding her. Which is why I'm exciting about this one-shot.

For me, Willow has been a different character since Season Six. I just can't connect with her. I'll buy and probably enjoy this, because it's a Buffyverse story and also Joss will be involved... but I don't know if I could ever really understand Willow as a person again.

I am really excited about this. Moreso because of Karl Moline than it being about Willow. Moline's art in TOYL is some of my favorite comic book art ever. He's just awesome.

A Willow one shot? Really? SO AWESOME! Cant wait for it. At first I thought Tara would be in it. But now, not so sure. Maybe Tara well appear in the end or close to it and convince Willow to finally let her go and move on. Not a fan of Moline's Willow but he does make the best scenes of Willow and Saga Vasuki. Definetly looking forward to this.

Saw this banner over at TFAW to promote Dark Horse's upcoming One-Shot Wonders and thought it was cool: So I guess this will cost $3.50 instead of $2.99. I don't know if that's a big deal or not.

A video interview with Scott Allie, in which he talks about the One-Shot Wonders comics and gives some info on the Willow one. Key points: * This story will be vital to the season 8 storyline, not just a side story. * We will discover that Willow is a much different character now than we know from the TV series... more so than we've seen so far, apparently.

Ohhhhhhh... Willow fans aren't going to like this me thinks.
I'm really glad they're doing this. I feel like this one-shot backstory and character exposition for Willow has been missing since the beginning of Season 8.
