It is funny! I hope we get to see superpowered Buffy kicking ass like this. It would be cathartic.
Is the series going in a lighthearted direction now? That would be an unexpected choice. Of course, the funny may just be a prelude to the horrible.
I'm surprised they put this out there... I thought Scott said the solicitations might go out without the covers?

I'm not really sure what to make of it. I was really shocked to see Joss... who are the other two, anyone know?

What is that? What in the world is going on?? I really can't wait to get the four last issues in the mail to catch up and know where the story is at. I'm not too sure I like the funny direction it's taking though.

I'm not too sure I like the funny direction it's taking though. "Funny" doesn't necessarily last very long in the Jossverse, though.

This cover is a homage to the Action Comics #1 cover, where Superman was introduced.

The funny covers are always misleading. Seeing Dawn stomp all over Tokyo was funny to some... but we all know how #14 ended. Right through the heart, literally. I agree that it's Joss, Jeanty, and most like Jo Chen on the cover. Kinda hilarious. Perhaps Allie wasn't kidding about "Buffy has F&*%ing Super Powers" after all...

Geanty covers are always a little bit more light-hearted than the regular ones, so I'm not surprised. As for the cover itself, love it! It's a (awesome) hommage to Action Comics #1 and the first appearance of Superman :

Undercovers: Thanks for the info. For future reference, don't use the attachment function... it makes your post impossible to edit. It doesn't matter this time around, since you didn't start the thread, but we try to keep things looking pretty uniform here. Use photobucket, or some other photo sharing site and paste the thumbnail url instead.

The covers look really good! Still not understanding Buffy flying, but I think it's kinda neat. I lover seeing Joss!

Where is all of this info on the Dark Horse website? Damned if I can find any of it. HERE. Anyway, the first post has been updated with solicitation and Chen's cover. EDIT: I think cant may be right. On closer inspection... it does kinda look like Allie himself on the cover.
