That cover is really fun.
But I do kinda hate knowing when Twilight is going to be revealed, I was always hoping to be taken by surprise. And now I can't help but laugh thinking as soon as Twilight takes off his/her mask they are going to shout "Jazz hands!".
Staying out of this thread doesn't seem like a bad idea.

There's sort of a circular shape on the left edge of his face... almost looks like a pair of glasses.
Could it be a future/alternate Giles?

I thought Giles too... in fact, it really does look like Giles' silhouette. But there is another male character that wears glasses... one that Georges hasn't drawn yet (at least in nothing published so far). Harth.
Only problem with that is... well, at least going by the reactions of the Scoobies on the cover... well, only Buffy may have actually seen Harth, and thus, only she may actually react in shock and horror. Willow and Xander would probably shrug and wonder who the heck the guy was.
Hmm... Giles... he does go gray very often (for a white hat, that is).

I don't know why, but knowing when Twilight will be revealed makes me kinda scared. I'm worried for whoever this is going to be! Spike, Giles and Xander seem the most likely and I don't want them to be. Eep.

It looks so much like it could be Giles. I really hope it's not (we know they throw in red herrings) but considering we see 3 of the 'Core 4' in this image, it makes me think it could be him.
Also, Giles has been relatively quiet in this series, apart from his arc with Faith.
Did anyone else notice that Scott Allie mentioned it could be someone familiar with Buffy's fighting techniques? Giles TRAINED her!!!

It would, of course, have to be a future Giles, or some sort of alternate one.
If we're using the "glasses" that seem to be visible in the cover image as evidence, then it's odd that no outline of glasses are visible under Twilight's skintight face mask.
However, Twilight's manner of speaking would be appropriate for Giles (whereas it would be inappropriate for any of the other main suspects, except maybe Ethan.)

YEa i kind of have this feeling it's Giles as well. Didn't even think about the training thing but that would explain the knowing her fighting style, plus she tells him almost everything so he would know about the move she used on Caleb. Also the silhoutte does look a bit like glasses adn he is the only one they would all know that wears glasses.
Another thing is at the start of Retreat he tells Faith that it's tiem for them to pray when they are attacked. Then the whole group goes to Tibet and basically prays away their powers.
The biggest hole would be why he didn't know they were in Tibet, but seeing as how he seemed to know about Riley maybe he knew about Tibet adn was stalling. Perhaps to give time for the ir powers to be completely gone. If he went right away they could still ahve fought back, but having waited they were powerless.

I love the cover!
I doubt Twilight will be Spike or Angel -- Scott said that they would be scarcely used..and IMO it's better off that way. Angel has his own series and Spike will too. I think Joss will leave well enough alone on this one.
As for the ideas of Future Xander or Future Giles...Maybe. I hope they it doesn't turn out to be a scooby from the future. Time travelling gets so messy.
And finally, in regards to the possible glasses frames....perhaps it's just a hair?

Cool cover! I gotta agree with Smashed, i think it his hair or his ear (like on the Spider-Man cover), i think it would be just silly-stupid to spoil us with glasses on the cover. That and i cant imagine Twilight wearing glasses under his mask.
