The only other person I know that likes it is the Devil (who I'm beginning to suspect also made it). I mean, what a brilliant plan. Create the worst movie ever, hope it serves as a catalyst for mass suicide. Not sure I could've done better myself.

Easily one of the funniest movies ever made. As for me, gotta go with the Star Wars Prequels, but I have been a major Star Wars fan since I was 5, so it would be hard for me to hate anything Star Wars related. At least most people agree Episode III was pretty good.

I don't know a single person who disliked that film. It was also critically acclaimed. I was quite fond of Marie Antoinette and Running With Scissors, neither of which were particularly well received by critics or at the box office. I'm always trying to sell people on Marie Antoinette, but many people have an issue with it being so highly stylised. I find that people who haven't read Running With Scissors like the film far more than those who have. Some of the acting in RWS was Oscar worthy and it had very strong direction, I was surprised when it had such a weak response from the critics. man I LOVED both of those films, running with scissors especially. Was so, well...insane...and marie.A. was just really good. Not sofia coppolas best but definately watchable. I will always love Lost in Translation too much for any other films of her to top it. heh heh. RWS was insane. In the best possible way. Annette Bening left me speechless in certain scenes. The performance by Evan Rachel Wood was also a highlight. The scene where her and Joseph Cross are attacking the kitchen ceiling with brooms was hilarious and poignant at the same time. I appreciated the way Marie Antoinette was written, not depicting her the typical villian which she has been portrayed as throughout history, the world is far too grey to make such obvious distinctions between who is good and evil. I think Lost In Translation will always be Sofia Coppola's magnum opus and that's to take nothing away from her talent, it's more a statement on the exceptional quality of the film itself. Has anyone else seen Charlotte Gray with Cate Blanchett? I found that to be a film that never received the acclaim it deserved. I could never work out why it wasn't well liked.

The broom scene in Running with scissors!! Loves It. I just rewatched Indy 4. I loved it in the cinema, now rewatching it Im starting to see why everyone complained about it so badly. Although its Indy so I still like it more than I dislike it. Another film I forgot to mention, 'eyes wide shut'. Nothing incredible but I do like it, and find it really sinister and creepy. Virtually everyone ever though thinks its utter garbage. 'the shining and clockwork orange are so much better!!' Oh get over it they are completely different films.

Marie Antoinette. I dont know how many times I've seen it and fallen in love but whenever I try to share the beauty people have a million complaints with it! "its too slow"...well considering how much the movie covers, its pretty short. "the music doesnt go" its art my fellow art school chums. "ki ki sucks" well that she does but atleast she doesnt have an accent.....

And yeah, this is probably just me, but I kinda did like the Halloween remake. *suddenly becomes a Slay Alive outcast*

Does Kirsten Dunst get her head chopped off in the film?
I liked Rob Zombie's Halloween too. There were some aspects of the film I didn't like but over all, I thought it was pretty decent.

I'm spoiler-tagging my response, just in case. Nope... the movie stops before the head-chopping madness that the French are famous for. I think I read in Vanity Fair (or somewhere similar) that the French were incensed about the lack of "Off with her head!".

Now this is embarrasing but I really like Miss Spears' "Crossroads" movie The first time I watched it was with my boyfriend (at the time) and only got him to watch it cos he fancied Britney, but by the end of it we were both like "hey that was pretty good". I mean, its not a ground breaking feature but the story, the emotion and "some" of the acting (not Britney, sadly) was pretty good too. *prays for someone to agree with her*

I am a huge horror movie junkie, and thought i would hate Rob Zombie's Halloween...but i was actually quite happy with it overall. He did it justice for the most part. I look at it more as a tribute i guess than a remake.
