I now hate the show because of what they did with Derek Reese!!!! if they kill off James and have the others on the ran more, then I will be happy, but the show is dead now.... so what ever....

Yes, I was so upset at how blase everyone was about his death. And his death itself was so WTF that I just had to stop and rewind to make sure it really happened.
It's the first time a TV show has made me cry in a long while. I had no idea really how much I liked Derek until that happened.
*sadness*

I liked his death. It was out of no where and made pretty much no sense, so of course it pissed me off, but it was also brilliant. They had to "keep moving". It was very Joss.

Death can be so sudden and out of no where and Derek's death really hit it on the head. They way they did it just left me with this feeling of shock, as if Derek & the moment needed more focus but everything had to keep moving foward. So well done. It's hard to lose Derek, but if this is the last season of TSCC then boy are they going out with a bang.

I understand how it fit perfectly with the scene, how they had to keep moving. It just hurt. So in a good way, they made it realistic and true to the 'verse. But it doesn't change the fact that I'm still sad about Derek.

Interviews with the creator, executive producer, and writer Josh Friedman and Shirley Manson and Summer Glau on Comic Book Resources. Click on the bolded text to be sent there. Nothing spoiler-ish, despite the claims of candor. Well, then again, they flat out tell the interviewees to not provide spoilers.

Thanks a lot for posting those! They got me even more excited than I already am. It's weird, Dollhouse isn't even on my radar right now, it's all about this finale tonight. I'm hoping for a little improvement in the ratings, hopefully the fact that it's a finale will get more people to watch and that there will be an extended Salvation sneak peak.
I know the chances are more than slim, but I will go insane if it's not picked up.

I'll be missing this tonight. Possibly Dollhouse too. But I'm really excited for this! Looking forward to reading the spoilerish posts.

Tonight's episode was pretty mind blowing. I'm still not sure what to say. It left a lot of questions, but boy was it entertaining.

Holy wow! After seeing those last 10 minutes, if the story doesn't continue somehow, whether it be another season on FOX, another network, DVD movies, comics or even a freaking NOVEL..... something will die bloody. That ending was just crazy. Had so many emotions run through me, don't think I've ever felt like that while watching live television.
Everything leading up to the final moments were great too, the pace was just like a normal episode of the show, moved along nicely. So cool to see some characters that haven't been around in awhile, especially the chola.
Many questions answered, but soooo many more brought up. This better not be the end.

Wow. Words can’t describe how I feel right now and my body can’t stop shaking even though an hour has passed since the season finale. So Weaver is a good guy? That’s awesome, I really like her character. I hope we see her in season 3. Yes, there will be a season 3. How can there not be after that? MmMmm… Cameron looked torn up from the floor up. Right? lol. I feel really bad for Savannah, she’s going to need some serious therapy for abandonment issues. Who attacked Weaver’s building? That scene was crazy! Well… the whole episode crazy. John and Weaver went to the future, awesome. Was Sarah and Ellison killed from the blast? She probably wasn’t but I wonder if they want us to think that. So John, Kyle, and Derek are reunited. Cool. I can’t wait to see the interaction between little John and future John. And human Cameron, I can’t wait to see her and John interact also. Sorry if my post is really confusing. I just can’t think straight right now. I’m so excited!

This episode was really amazing. Seeing Cameron all messed up like that was just extremely shocking. Probably even more so than Arnie in T2. Especially when she said she wasn't at 100%. The ending was just ridiculous. They set up so much potential for next season that I got immediately depressed that we probably won't see one. The thought of John interacting with his dad, human Cameron/Alison Young, working with Weaver to save his Cameron, it's all just too exciting and depressing to think about. I hope the stars aligned and this episode happened to have like 9 million viewers. It really needs to come back.

I just can’t think straight right now. I’m so excited! I'm with you, they need a season 3 on tv. If not, in one way, shape, or form. I love the groundwork they have set. There are so many ways they can run with the story from here on out. As far as your questions; was the thing that attacked weaver the same terminator from Jesse's sub? That was my impression. It was also my impression that the future John went to didn't include him. So I can see it two ways. Either John jumped to a completely different alternate future or they just brought the show full circle. Perhaps the John of the 2020's is only in his teens.

HOLY FREAKI'N CRAP WOW. I CANNOT EVEN THINK I AM SO HYPED UP. AHHHH! Okay wow, serious wow. I have just had a serious TSCC overload. I cannot stop thinking about the episode. I literay just stoped watching about 4 minutes ago. I have to talk to someone about this I a going to burst. *breathes* Okay the breathing did nothing but made me light headed. What do I do?!! Ah Right, okay, oaky, right. I'm here now...sort of. Oka here it goes. Cameron is dead-ish, John Henry is in the futue, Catherine Weaver is in the future, John is in he future, Derek and Kyle are alive, John met his dad, they don't know who John Connor is, Sarah is back on the run and still trying to stop SkyNet, Cameron is Allison so she is stil a human and Ellision is...picking up Savanna from Gymnastics lol Wow that episode was brilliant. Who actually cares about Terminator: Salvtion right now. I'd throw it out of the window and not even boter to recycle it for a season three of TSCC. Oh, Oh and to all the Jameron fans. John and Cameron totally had Terminator sex! He was on top of her and did technically go inside her. I really want a seasn three! FOX are going to be swamped with fans now wanting a third season and to all the people not watching this show I feel sorry for them. Just like the people who don' get Buffy or Angel or Firelfy. I really do, they are missing out on so much. The show goes way more into the story/mythology than the movies ever done. Now T1 & T2 are amazing filsm my fav along with Die Hard one but those last 6 episodes of TSCC were God-like. Sorry to say but if Dollhouse does not step things up a notch it is out. As much as I love Echo and her whole "who am I" thing. TSCC had just upped it's game and right now it is sooo getting a season three. I don't know it it will get a full 22 episodes, impossible to know at this point but it will get something. 12-13 episodes maybe as a starter like what Dollhouse has gotten. AHHHHHHHH! I think I am coming across as a crazy person but I haven't felt this way about a show since Buffy ended. I know we have the comics now blah, blah blah but still... Right now all I can think about it getting a season 3 and how awesome it will be. John in the future with his dad and uncle. Allison too. Right now I need to go to sleep it is very late in the morning. Insanley late but I had to stay up to see in the finale! Ahhhhhh. Epic episode and has to have gotten the ratings it deserved my guess in it will get 4 million maybe over a bit more 4.4 I really want it to higher but it is Friday nights so I don't know. We'll see tomorrow. You're building Skynet you Terminator Bitcha'!

Holy crap... that was intense. And possibly one of the most amazing finales I've ever watched. Not so much that the scale was epic, but because it never lost the heart. And the return of some old faces from the show... the priest and the girl who brought the passports...
I think it was more or less confirmed by last night's ep that Weaver was the T-1001 in the sub. It's not explicit, but the fact that Weaver returned John's question to Cameron: "Will you join us?" makes me think that it is the same cyborg, having recognized that she/they can't win the war without John's help, and vice versa.
The "Dungeons and Dragons" thing is still a HUGE question mark. It was something that I wanted closure on in S1, and hoped to see more of in S2, but hey maybe there'll be a season 3. I'm not too optimistic, even though last night's ep renewed my love for the show. The past few episodes have been great, but last night's really brought it home. But speaking of Dungeons and Dragons, there was a rather funny reference to it, and "Chosen" in the scene where John Henry and the tech guy are playing Dungeons and Dragons. Or at least that's what I think they were playing. It involved figures, cards, and dice rolling.
Tonight's ep was explosive. So many really cool revelations, a couple of moments that will probably make you weep (or feel close to it, anyway), a bunch of new questions raised... It was the perfect ending to the show, and possibly even the finale, despite the cliffhangerish nature of it. John time-jumping without Sarah was painful. I think I mentioned it before, but the strain between John and Sarah in this season were what kinda saddened me a little in this season. When he finally says "I love you" to her, her stunned expression speaks as to how long it's been since she's heard it. The closing, with her voice coming through from the past... that was heartbreaking. Also, the cancer bit was sad. 11% of your body weight is a lot to lose; she probably does have cancer, even though it's left mildly ambiguous.
A couple of new things to muse about. The disappearance of Miles Dyson's son. Could he be the one resurrecting Skynet? It was his father's legacy, or would have been, until they shut it down. Why would Cameron hand over her chip to John Henry? So that he would have access to everything she's lived through the last couple of years with the Connors? To what end then? I would call it a final betrayal, except that John Henry is one of the good guys. Or supposed to be. It's interesting how the Turk turned out not to be the precursor to Skynet, but rather a means of fighting it. I guess it kinda makes sense, since it displayed "human" characteristics; i.e. moods. But how crazy was it when John stood before Derek and his father? And that they had never heard of John Connor. Possibly because he just time jumped again, bypassing JD, and therefore never becoming the messiah he was supposed to become. And then seeing Allison... those final minutes were intense. I'm still reeling... At this point, I'll take a continuation in just about any format. I'm wondering where T4 will stand next to this... I have never really been invested in the Terminator franchise until I started watching this show. Screw the criticisms about the lack of action... I think that's what made it so much better... that it hits the heart more than it goes for headshots.
