I managed to watch the whole episode today because my sister tivoed it. It made me hate date Mike five times more I think. He was perfectly normal, and then he had to ass it all up.
I've been thinking about Dwight, and I feel like he's just a gigantic asshole. He's mean to Michael, he's always been mean to Jim, and now he's acting so so mean to Angela. (He also completely blew Isabelle off at Jim and Pam's wedding, didn't he?). The only time I can remember him being legitimately nice was not actually legitimate, because he had a concussion.

I don't know what's worse: Michael thinking "Date Mike" would work or the fact that it did work on that manager lady.
Yeah, Dwight is a total ass. Someone seriously needs to put him in his place.

Lmao. I still can't get over the hat and when Michael goes on a date in general he becomes an extreme ass hat.
Remember when Pam set him up on a date with his landlady and he stated it was a nice talk? "Like talking to an old lady on the bus"
I really miss him and Holly together. They were both so dorky as Jim said and fit perfectly.

I liked him with Jan. They were obviously miserable together, but that's why they were so funny!

Epic Yeah, but the end of that episode was so sad. ): Just saw a commercial for next week. Apparently, it's going to be a double repeat week with both PB&J's wedding episode and their baby episode on one night. On one hand, I'm sad that there's not going to be a new episode. On the other, I wouldn't mind seeing the wedding ep. again. I don't remember really liking it, but I've forgotten a lot of what happened.

I feel like Michael and Jan had the occasional good moment, but the fact that Jan just did not respect Michael made their relationship doomed. Michael is willing to put up with a lot for a nice body and sex, but at some point even he has to say enough is enough.
Both are pretty good episodes, but I feel like they're both such important important milestones for the show that they just should have been better. Pretty good should not be good enough for the Office. I won't be watching anyway. New episode of Bones finally airs this Thursday, so that's where I'll be.

I know all of the things you mentioned about Michael and Jan's relationship would be terrible in real life, but it's just so funny to watch. Even if they never do get back together, I'd love for Jan to make another appearance. Her kinda crappy baby show excluded, these past two seasons have been missing Jan. I'll try to watch the reruns this week... If I can remember.

I kind of thought that Michael was planning to be involved with the baby. Even though it wasn't his. I kind of skipped around in that season, and didn't watch everything the last time through, so maybe I'm missing some big epiphany for him. But it is a little odd that Jan just fell off the face of the earth.

Michael's epiphany was actually in the baby shower episode, if you've seen it. Michael and the Party Planning Committee put together a baby shower for Jan, but when she comes, it turns out she already had the baby and didn't bother telling him. At the end of the episode Jan forbids Michael from seeing Holly and he realizes he did "feel anything" when holding Astrid.

Oh, okay. I very vaguely remember that. I'll try to re-watch if I ever have the time though. It's probably for the best though. I don't think Michael should be trusted with babies.

Remember when he watched Oprah when Angelina Jolie was on and he decided he wanted to adopt a baby from a foreign country like her? Pam told him it could take up to a year and he replies "I don't even know if I'll still want a baby in a year."

Hahha. Exactly why no one should ever let Michael have a baby. Or a puppy. Or anything that ever needs to be fed. He has no attention span.

I watched the rerun of the wedding episode tonight. I still think it wasn't as amazing as it should've been, but I didn't hate it as much this time as much as I remember I did last time.

I watched the last half of the wedding episode as well. It had a nice Roy moment in it. He can be sweet. And I have a big soft spot for him.
Michael acted like a total tool though. If I worked at Dunder Mifflin I would probably elope just so that I wouldn't have to invite him to my wedding.
Oh wait, I just realized that you were talking about Jim and Pam's wedding, weren't you? I watched Phyllis' wedding, since it was on earlier.

Oops. Sorry, I should've mentioned it was PB&J's. But I actually watched the episode with Phyllis' wedding the other day on DVD. I agree that Michael was a tool, but he usually is, lol.

I agree that it wasn't as amazing as it should have been. It was pretty good and everything, but this was one of the major milestones of this television show. The writers should not have settled for 'pretty good'.
