I can answer both of them! James is coming back, he's in the trailer they showed after episode one, I think I heard someone say he's back for the last two episodes of the season. Gwen told Jack about her marriage in the first episode shortly after he got back. It was a horribly mushy Jack/Gwen scene that there was no need to see. I only saw about half of the wedding one, so I was kinda shocked to turn on the TV and see a preggy Gwen standing at the altar. Luckily someone explained it for me. Even pregnant though, I have to say she looked very pretty in her dress Though I was upset at the end cos got the impression from what Jack was saying that Jack was using Ianto for sex, which did not make me a happy fangirl. Did anyone else get that impression?

Gwen did look very pretty but her hair looked so bad!
Jack using Owen for sex? I don't remmeber getting that. What did he say that made you think that? I would not be happy wither.
Remember in the first episode of this season, when he told Ianto he wanted to take him one a real date. That made me think it was more than just a sexual fling.

Oh it's awesome wait till you get to season two it is ten times better, they really get into the characters lives and stuff and alot of Jacks past is revealed. Highlight to read. He as born in the past, raised in the future and lives in the present day. One line that had me hooked in season two, James Marsters said it and the end of an episode....."I found Grey" and the look on Jacks face. Ohhh we do find out who he is but I'll not spoil it. Best fight scene it Torchwood is here: youtube.com/watch?v=eQZmZ_o1V9k

I am cought up in season 2 but i totally didn't get they Grey connection! OMG! That is a big deal!!! I am suprised Jack didn't have more of an emotional reaction!!! SPOILERS FROM NOW ON: Grey is Jacks litle brother, when they were both children they were playing outside when their planet was attacked. Their parnets told them to run but whilkst they were fleeing the planet Jack lost his brother and never found him again and was assumed dead. When Jack got back to his house his mum was sitting with his dad crying as he was kiled during the attack. Own beign illed was very sudden. Jack brings him back with the glove expecting it to be a few secinds but he ends up just stying, he is in the world but he is dead, he can't eat, sleep, have sex-so he feels disconnected from the team. Martha Jones comes into the series for 3-4 episodes and she is excellant in it, she is a fully qualified Doctor now and can defend herself alright. Gwen and Reese were engaged at the beginning of season 2 and now they are finally getting matrried. W find out we have slight love triangel. Ianto loves Jack, Jsck has soem sort of feeling for Gwen but Gwen loves Reese. James Marstes is set to return at some point so that will be good as he was excellant as John Hart in episode 1 and with him saying that he has found Grey then I assume he will make an apperance sometime soon, The series has been great so far and I hope it keeps going.

Remember in the first episode of this season, when he told Ianto he wanted to take him one a real date. That made me think it was more than just a sexual fling. LOL, Jack/Owen sex? I'm guessing that was a typo. Though I wouldn't put it past Jack to have slept with the entire team! I get the impression that Jack's using cos he always refers to it flippantly, like at the end of the wedding episode where they go "What'll you do?"/ "Pizza, Ianto", and cos Jack only ever talks about their realtionship on a sex basis. Though I do hope that's my reading into things way to much like I always do. Highlight to read spoiler @whedon fan's post I'm also uber interested about Grey, he's bound to tun up in the finale or something. And as you said, a Grey arc will bring more James Marsters, which is always a plus! And theres the reveal at the end of the last episode, which shocked me big time, I'd never have put Jack down for the marrying type!

Highlight spoiler to read. [spoiler/] Yeah I know and to a woman, the photo was very old so I assume that she died of old age.
It has already been made oficial that James Marsters IS coming back for the last two episodes so that'll be good.

I am not liking all of the Jack straight stuff. It seems like a cop out to me. I get that the whole mission statement of the show (in reguards of sexuality) is that there is no true orientation and that it is not as simple as black and white.

How did you manage to modify my post what I said wasn't that spoilery anyway? Being able to modify posts is one of my moderator abilities. I agree. What you said was not very spoilert but I want people to understand that this thread should be spoiler free so I went ahead and edited all seasaon 2 spoilers. I think spoilers for season 1 are fair game but should still be used sparingly. Season 2 spoilers should be marked. You do not have to do it the way I did ("highlight to read") but please do mark them some how. I want everyone to be able to talk about TW with out getting spoiled if they are not up on the weeks episode

Tis also where Martha's cousin Adeola worked, until she got killed by Cybermen) On that note, does anyone know if Martha's coming back? I adore her, and hope she gets to stay on the show for good

I think it's been stated in an interview that everyone in Torchwood is bisexual lol! I really enjoyed the first series, but I've missed a few episodes of the second series so haven't really got into it. It was good to see James Marsters back on the screen, and he still has that 'Spike attitude' to him

I just bought the DVD set for season 1 on Wednesday and am on Disc 5. I love it!! I won't read any discussion threads until I've seen all of season 1. But, as an older DR. Who fan (John Pertwee - Tom Baker - Peter Davison) I really like an adult spin off. I might just watch the episodes of the post-Davison Doctors. So count me in as a fan - but remember, I won't read what you post until I see it all.

i didnt mind the Wedding eppie it wasn't that bad funny and all. I was reading in SciFi i think it was and they had some polls about the show and what people though of the latest season and it got some bad votes. Some don't think its as good as season one and some thing if it didn't have the sex and swearing thing in it the show would fall which i agree. They from what I'm seeing this season only care about the sex and swearing theres not that much character growth or plot to it. If it was aired before watershed i think they would have to work harder at getting story liens for the show and junk and would really make it better.
maybe it should be shown before 9.

I think the problem with season two, and I do love season two btw, is that they are ALL stand-alone episodes. There are a few character relationships and plot points (Gwen's engagement/wedding etc) that follow throught the season but overall, there is no consistant theme or story arc like there was in season one.

I totally agree, there isn't many continuing arcs, and no obvious big bad or anything. Though theres the stuff with Grey and Jack's home planet, which has been building up to what I'm guessing is gonna happen in the final two episodes. Found some very juicy spoilers for tomorrows episode, highlight to read! Gwen will catch Ianto and Jack (both topless) about to have sex in the hub!
Where did you meet him?! I have seen screen caps from your spoiler Sacred. I did not like last weeks episode. I think it was the worst episode yet, of either season. I dodn't even finish watching it. I guess I will before tonights episode though.
