i agree. I don't understand why that movie didn't do as well as everyone thought. I'm still so excited for this! I've seen tons of previews on the TV, im counting the days until it comes out. My friends and I might be going to see it on my 16th birthday in 3D! *screams in excitment*

I'm trying to find the cartoon on DVD. Haven't seen it in years. It's on youtube as well. Actually, pretty much all the Disney film features are on youtube. The only disney movies that I have not found so far, are Atlantis: The Lost Empire and Mary Poppins.

I'm not gonna lie, I am a Tim Burton fan. Johnny Depp's Mad Hatter looks like a straight up pedophile. He gives me nightmares, for realsies. lol. I do want to see this. Will I tell my family and friends that? Heck no! You best believe I'm keepin' that on the down low fo sho. There's a lot of great actors and actresses attached to this project which is awesome. My favorite Alice characters are the Cheshire Cat, the Caterpillar, and the Jabberwock which are all voiced by great actors so I'm totally stoked about that. And just look at the Cheshire Cat, I just wanna lay him on his back and rub my face in his stomach while mumbling "Who's a good kitty? Yes you are! Mhmm. I knows it! I knows it!". His little pointy teeth just make him look that much cuter. Dude, it would be awesome if he had braces. Be honest, who doesn't love a cat with braces? Nobody, that's who. Kitteh!

Eh, I'm not really excited for this movie. Tim Burton has played the "I'm sooo strange, look at me make something that shows how I have a sinister mind but haven't lost my childlike wonder." He's definitely made some gems, but he needs to stop doing the same thing. He feels like a gothic kid in high school... just trying too hard. I'd say that this perfectly sums up my own feelings on Burton. His original "Batman" (with Nicholson as the Joker) was very good, but I still want back the 2 hours of my life I spent on "Batman Returns" ( ). "Sleepy Hollow" was decent, but other than that... I don't like Burton, I don't like Depp, and I don't like "Alice in Wonderland", so all in all, I think I'll be giving this one a miss...

*cries* This is Hell. Can't believe the cinemas are going to do that because the DVD is planning on being released 3 weeks earlier than the usual limit. I'm not sure if my local cinema is owned by one of those chains but I will assume it is as it's mentioned together they own 95% of 3D cinemas in the UK. Grrr

Yeah, Johnny Depp's The Mad Hatter does look scary. I bet he smells like sweets to attract the children.

I just heard this on the news, I so hope they come to an agreement over this as I want to see this film so badly The cinema I use is a Vue, and the other one in my town is an Odeon, so looks like if this goes ahead I won't be seeing it on the big screen Update: Just heard that apparently Vue have struck a deal to show this film, so looks like I will be able to see it after all, happy days

I am so excited about the movie. Alice in Wonderland (the disney version) was my absolute favorite as a child, and seeing/reading all the different versions and portrayals is awesome. I can't wait to see how well Tim Burton did it. I'm not a superfan of his or anything, but I think his take will be really cool.

Need to take notes on Depp's costume... thinking of doing that for Halloween this year. Classic and current at the same time... works for me. It's either that, or the classic white sheet with eye cutouts this year...

Ohhhh this is on at my local cinema starting Friday, so excited!!! I wasn't going to go this weekend though as with it being opening weekend it will be packed, especially in 3D, so I may go in the week sometime. We have two for one cinema tickets on a Wednesday, so maybe then. I can't wait to see it
