This looks to be a promising issue. I <3 Illyria reading Green Eggs and Ham, that made me laugh. And was Beta George referencing the events of Spike: Asylum? Also, always great to see Lorne, except that now when I do, I can't help but feel sadness.

Aw, Gunn. Loved this part:
"Eventually visitors come less and less. Getting on with their lives? Hope so. All alone."
Because that's so true. People visit often at first, then they leave their friends who are sick like this behind. It's such a poignant panel. And it's a great set-up to this new and twisted devotion of Illyria's protection. She's the only one that stayed.

That was awesome! Very heartbreaking, but it's cool to see Gunn get this kind of attention. So much goodness and sweet cameos. It's nice to finally get some post-After the Fall consequences and development.

I <3 Illyria reading Green Eggs and Ham, that made me laugh. That was Groo wasn't it? Really great preview pages. I can't wait to see more of the Gunn and Illyria dynamic, and it was nice to see so many characters in just those few pages (Gunn, Angel, Lorne, Groo, Wesley, Connor, Gwen, George, Illyria). I wonder if this is the only issue that will have the "After the Fall - Epilogue" subtitle, or if the Dru issues will as well (since some of that story takes place during After the Fall). We don't know what #26 & #27 are about, but they could even have it to. Pretty neat.

I think this will be the only issue with the AFTER THE FALL "Epilogue" subtitle.

Looks very cool, though the whole Gunn & Illyria thing is something I'm still not sure about really. Other than that, I can't wait for this. Really wanna see how it turns out and so far, it looks really good. Something to look forward to

Think I will pick up this issue. I'd wait for a collected, but I'm not getting vol. 5 (aftermath) and I'm assuming this will be in 6.

I really like the preview pages, alot actually. And I just with they would flat out state that the Spike: Asylum are officially part of the series/comic continuity instead of leaving it up in the air.
Im really digging that they are getting deep into Gunn mind and we will learn more and more about his guilt.

i think this issue will be all about what angel series is. this pages preview showed that... i got the chills reading...cause its so deep a so angel(the show) i REALLY REALLY REALLY hope that gunn/Illirya still be part of the show... and i hope after the dru issues(that im dying to read btw) they start a new long arc, like after the fall, with all the gang. but it looks like they made the new team... (but im still hoping everyones back, including fred/wes and if its not dream too much cordy)

I can read this issue without having read AFTERMATH, right? I assume so because it's the "epilogue" to AFTER THE FALL. I'm honestly only reading this for Brian Lynch. Love his writing!!

AMAZING ISSUE! A brilliant return to Angel after that breathe of foul air that we had with Aftermath!
Its wonderful to see Gunn's inner turmoil and VERY interesting to see how he feels about being a vampire. Its creepy to know that he misses it, but then again its also very understandable. He was completely free, but then again, the guilt for feeling that way also comes along with it.
HAHA Kenny the talking T-Rex, loved every second of it! And I LOVED how Illyria dealt with Non, thats awesome!
I thought that something VERY interesting, and I can just give props to damn good story telling and memory, was how Illyria was writing on the wall, which is something that Fred used to do when she couldnt figure something out. And its amazing to see Illyria being so confused with Fred's memories and possible humanity, and having to resort to doing the same thing. And it was beautiful to hear about how Illyria feels about Fred and how people worshipped her, and understanding thats what true worship is.
In Mosaic, was that NON? BEcause if it was, thats hysterical! But very nice to see that no matter how evil she is, they still want to help her because its helping them.
Illyria driving a car, well theres something you dont see everyday! Brilliant! And its great to see that Illyria wants to get in touch with her humanity.

Incredible!
One of the most depressing things I've ever read, and loved every second of it. It's great to see Gunn get this much attention. His thoughts throughout the issue and reaction to Non's healing him was heartbreaking. The fact that he didn't want to wake and would rather just have "closure" just depressed the hell out of me. It's shocking to see what has happened to a once great man, and now he is that man again, but just doesn't feel like it. Amazing stuff.
What Gunn is going through matches up perfectly with what Illyria is going through. Both of their struggles are great and the final two pages were perfect. I must read Only Human now, love the idea of their journey for humanity. I loved the hilarious twist with Non and the Kenny stuff was classic!
