Absolutely LOVED this issue.
I haven't been feeling the final so far, enjoying it but not fully. After this issue however I'm totally on board.
So many plot lines to pick up and string together, and I know Joss will do us proud.
Loved it!
However, I must say some of the art here and there was a tad hit and miss, but there was so much happening my eyes were just darting across each page. I'm hating the appearance of some of the demons though, metallic-y scifi demon creatures...not liking that.
But that's just a mild quibble. December is too far off!

This song is so big in the UK clubs right now and it's so annoying!!! I just dont understand this song. at. all. I heard a dubstep song just like this (repetative reference to B.S) a while ago, and this seems to have ripped it off completely, but made it all boppy to appeal to the pop masses. Its just utterly random and annoying. And then to make things worse Diva Fever covered it on X Factor...which was a massive live stage car crash. hahaha.

oh.my.christ.
That looks AWFUL.
Im making a huge judgement with this comment...but I dont care. Why must America remake every fecking thing just so they can label it as American??!!
Angers me to NO end.
Its like every single brilliant Foreign film simply HAS to be remade in America..I still havent got over the whole REC situation where it was remade like a month later and retitled Quarantine...and then the release of the Spanish version was given limited screenings so that the American version could seem like the original one.
ARGH.
And now this absolute crappy rubbish...the US version of Cassie looks rubbish.
I just hope people are aware that it was original a Good British TV Show...Im just waiting for some America remake of Dr Who.lol. Give it 5 years...Im sure itll happen.
Although...I must say, when I was in LA this summer a lot of people had seen Skins, so that gives me hope. haha.
Also need to add...typical of the American execs of turning the character of a Clarinet player...into a goddamn cheerleader. Barf.

Yeah I'm no Cher fan myself. Matt Cradle is very good. I love Mary as well, but we've kind of done the 'Susan Boyle' scene before. Where have you been dude? hello! lol. I've been a busy boy this past year, graduating uni, moving to London, getting a job, generally sorting my existence out. But everythings back on track now! Hence I return to Slayalive to while away more hours, heh heh. Nice to be back! Back to the x factor topic...cher lloyd...I dislike her thoroughly...but at the same time I'm glad she is in the finale as it does give us something different and her performance, despite the fact a lot of her grimaces revolt me and some of her singing just grinds my gears, is still entertaining. I just hope she doesn't win, and at the moment everyone in the press is completely championing her. But either way, I think it's easy that Matt Cradle will get a record deal straight after the show so if he didn't win I wouldn't be up in arms. Most of the finalists usually get some sort of musical career sorted so who ever wins, chances are you'll see an album from your favourite anyway. (except Wagner...oh Wagner, please take your chest hair far away from my tv screen.)

Hello Slayalivers! It has been forever since Ive posted on this forum! Life has been pretty chaotic this past year but now everything is beginning to settle down and get into routine. Basically, Im powering my CV up to become a Film Journalist, and recently got a gig writing for a website. I get paid via the amount of page views I get on my articles/reviews. This is my latest for suite101.com. The film is Trash Humpers by Harmony Korine. www.suite101.com/content/trash-humpers-dvd-review-a294097INSANE film. But well worth a watch for Crazy Cinephiles out there. The 2 seconds it takes to click on the link is a great help. Cheers guys! I look forward to fully embracing the slayalive life like I used to years ago. -James (p.s. if you enjoyed it...more of my reviews/ articles can be found at www.betweenthereels.blogspot.com. Thanks!)

Yeh, Heavy in your Arms is amazing.
Actually one of my favourites with Cosmic Love and Swimming. I love her big dramatic and mystical songs.
I saw her again last thursday in cardiff Cooper's Field. She was amazing again. The firsttime I saw her was at my Summerball so it was more of a festival gig set where she just wore a leotard and leapt about and was awesomely crazy.
The gig in cardiff was just her so it was more professional with her props and different backgrounds on the set and lighting for each song etc. It was absolutely incredible. My camera is terrible however and I only have blurry pictures but Ill see if I can find a good one and put it up.
I must say, one of the great moments was when she did Blinding. She put the shawl over her head and looked like some sort of Banshee and the venue was just pitch black with strobe lighting. It created such an amazing atmosphere.

Saw Florence last night. Fucking INCREDIBLE. She played Strangeness and Charm. A.W.E.S.O.M.E. At one point she was climbing on the speakers, legend. Absolute Legend.

Just found out Florence is playing in cooper's field in Cardiff.
In the process of getting myself a ticket.
It's on the 10th June...so if I got a ticket I'd be seeing her on the 4th and the 10th of June. BEST MONTH EVER!

Just on the last couple pages of Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
hmmmmm
I personally think it's massively overrated. The plot is well structured and is good but the writing style is just so basic and just straight forward, just like information, information, dialogue, information etc. There's no play with words or lyricism with descriptions. A really basic read if you ask me.
Gonna return to my ever faithful Stephen King and read Lisey's Story next.
