The comment that Kennedy gives to Willow: "Lie still..." suggests to me Willow could very well have been severely injured from the 50 foot downfall. Repercussions? My prediction: the Muffitt character we saw in Goddesses and Monsters could be foreshadowing about what happens to Willow. Willow may have broken her lower back and is confined to a wheelchair. Any thoughts on this or other observations? I LOVE this theory. ;D The idea of Willow going from almighty Wiccan to just plain broken, useless, is great. (Going from #1 to the broken Doll, if you will.) It would be such an interesting arc for her character. Obviously, Willow would go on the journey of gaining her abilities back, and I'd love to see Amy team up with her. Maybe Amy's influence is what turns her back to a darker path, the one we see in ToYL? So many possibilities for Willow. Her ongoing series is the one I'm looking forward to.

Once I have some money to spend, I think I'll pick up the Season One Boxset. That's the only chance of me catching up. xD

If you look at Jeanty's cover, I'm pretty sure Giles is Spike. They just added some glasses and darkend the hair to throw us off. Good eye! It does actually look a bit like Spike... The cheekbones, definitely.

Great vid, VS. I like how you voomed in on Faith's boob at 1:10. My only problem was the end. That's a disturbing scene to end on. Maybe you could have put in some pics of Buffy? I know it's a Giles vid, but I think it would've worked better with more of her reaction added in. The boob zoom was meant to zoom in on Giles walking away with the scythe, but it wouldn't do as I pleased. Meh. It only barely caught the edge of his shoulder. And I got pictures of Buffy's reaction to use, but I was having issues with the sound, and had to cut it short. Plus, I really like the idea of just ending on Giles' as he was; We want him to get up, but it's obvious he's just going to remain still...

Okay, I figured I'd post this video here as well. It's a little tribute to Giles I made last night. SPOILERS FOR ISSUE 39.

I saw that some people posted tributes to Giles, in memory... I decided to make this. *Please note that the timing in the video got messed up somehow, towards the middle. It really makes me mad too, 'cause I worked so hard to give Giles' death the most epic notes...*

Just read it, and... Just wow. This is probably the best issue, IMHO. I still hate the overall story, but this issue was just really strong.
Giles... Oh, Giles. I want to cry; I really do. But I can't. The way his death mirrored Jenny's was absolutely perfect. Giles has been on the sidelines for so long now, and he went out trying to save everyone, save Buffy; To do what he thought she couldn't... It really was time for him to go, it seems. Now Buffy has no one to father her, and do the hard things; I know Giles left her in season 6 for that matter, but he showed in this very issue that he still will do anything for Buffy, as her father. Rest in peace, Giles.
Willow was awesome. And seeing her at the ending... I can't WAIT to see where she's going next. I'm curious if this lack of magic will come between her and Kennedy, or make them closer. And it seems will is completely powerless, so where does she get her magics from in the Fray timeline? I'm sensing this'll be in her spinoff series? (Which I'm VERY eager for.)
Buffy, and even Xander were great here. Loved them both.
Can I just say how much I love that Buffy is her own most unexpected betrayer? She's done so many things lately, and said so many things, that we fans have looked down on her recently. She slept with the enemy, she ignored the death of hundreds, and was just so... Un-Buffy. She had literally become an alter of herself; Someone who was tarnished and blinded by things. But she came around, slowly, over the last few issues. And it looks like she won't be sleeping with the enemy any time soon, as 'Angel' has gone way too far this time. He may have murdered hundreds of slayers by will, but now he's murdered Giles by force... Buffy can't ignore that.
-Sigh- I really wish I enjoyed the overall season, but after issue 21, IMO, the season lost it's touch. The story got out of hand, and went all over the place. Sadly. I hope the finale issue, and Season 9, can pull outta this. Make it a character driven story again, please. No more super sex scenes. No more out of hand plots. I beg.
Also, I'm super interested in Amy again. I think we'll be seeing a lot more of her... Or I hope so at least.

Aww, Mooney, you're amazing. The before image was spectacular, but I agree that this updated version is more... Willow-y-looking. *Karmas*

As I've said before, Andrea is easily my favorite in this show. I love her actress too! I've read the first dozen comics, and really don't mind her age-change; I actually like her as an older woman. Her scenes in Episode 5 with Amy were so sad, and just plain amazing. And it looks like she's getting shot up with something in the finale? o.o I'm worried... Please, don't die, Andrea! My favorites always die! No! ... And there's that shot of her in the shower, which I'm very interesting in. Haha. And is anyone else wondering about Merle? I mean, he's MIA. Did he just up and leave?! He stole their van for God's sake, and I figured he'd be right back at camp wanting a fight... But he's still gone. I figured he'd pop back up at an unexpected timing, but now I'm wondering if that'll even be in this season.

I've seen the movie twice now; I appreciated it more the second time around. It's really well-constructed and hits all the major plot points. I was wondering what you guys thought Yates was doing with the Snitch. Harry "catches" it and puts it in his pocket four times during the film: when he first receives it from Scrimgeour, when Hermione tells him that they have Flesh Memories, when Harry realizes that he almost swallowed this Snitch as opposed to catching it, and once more in Malfoy Manor just before Harry and Ron stop Bellatrix from torturing Hermione some more. It was something I was watching for the second time around, because it doesn't seem like something that would be done unintentionally. Thoughts? Symbolic of something? By the way, the animated story of the Three Brothers was gorgeous. It ties with the sequence at Godric's Hollow for my favorite part of the whole movie. Just... guh. GUH. I'm not sure I understand your question. Harry gets it to reveal the, 'I open at the close' message still. Was it placed differently in the movie than in the book? Is that you're question? Sorry for my non-helpfulness.

And if I see one more "Asian *insert ridiculous non-racial activity here*" moment, I'm officially signing a petition against that crap. It's as stupid as the whole "gay scuba diving" ads that facebook keeps informing me about. Someone needs an Asian Hug. I kid, kid!

I love it. Great likenesses. But does Willow remind anyone else of Amy (From her S7 appearance)?
