Hi again... Do you really think that it was Cordelia's presence in the gentle breeze, trying to dissuade Angel's pessimism? and why do it when Angel is thinking about Fred and Wes? does she know something about them? (#17) lol.. thanks. I want to leave that up to the reader.

I would do that with original comics, absolutely. I think though, that if you can't get the original actors playing the original parts in an audio drama, it would seem weird. I can guarantee you that most of us (emphasis on MOST) wouldn't mind if you guys used professional sound-alikes if the original actor couldn't make it. I would definitely go out and buy it and I don't even like After the Fall. Can you at least bring it up to Joss and see if he would at least consider it for After the Fall and/or Season Eight? Trust me on this one, Joss is swamped.

I believe that! Haha =)
But please at least consider it in the future. After all, both series have a long way to go before they end. The audio drama doesn't have to be done NOW.

Hey Brian, Thanks for doing another Q&A for us, tis grand. Juliet just twittered the following: Working with Sam Shearon and Mark Mchayley on additional cover art for the Dru issues. It is fun! - and I was wondering if this means that as well as the covers from Urru and Runge we'll also be getting covers from Sam Shearon and Mark McHaley for #25 too? Could you clarify for us? Thanks. V. much looking forward to the return of messers Lynch and Urru to the Angelverse.

Hi Brian! Plans for Lilah, Lindsey or Eve? Love all three (especially the first two) but in terms of my books, no appearances are planned.

In fact, with the Drusilla issues I am even more unsure as I mainly served in a "guiding Juliet through the process" capacity. But I hope we get more awesome covers like that birdcage one.

Brian,
I got a chance to meet you last year at the San Diego Comic Con. You signed some comics for me, included the my concept cover for ATF #7 (the Wesley cover). I was wondering if you knew if you going to the SDCC this year and if you might have a signing session again? I would love to meet you again a thank you for the great After the Fall story arc.
Either way, thanks for you contributions so far,
Jossfan

Another question Is there something you would love to do with the characters/a character, but that you don't dare to do? (something like bringing a character back, fullfilling the Shanshu prophecy, killing a major character for real etc. ... or something totally different.)

In Season Three of Angel, we were introduced to a young woman named Justine. And after the Season Four finale, we never saw her again. Since Angel Season Four is concurrent with Buffy Season Seven, I always thought that Justine would become a potential Slayer and then ultimately a Slayer after Buffy's finale. So... do you think you can confirm her final fate in one of the future issues? For me? I'd totally start buying the issues now if you promise to confirm something.

(something like bringing a character back, fullfilling the Shanshu prophecy, killing a major character for real etc. ... or something totally different.) It would have been horribly depressing but I think Gunn dying once they get back to Los Angeles would have been powerful. Being able to die human could have been a beautiful but heartbreaking moment. That said, it would have been a waste of a character, Gunn is too rich to throw away. I also wish I could played with Gwen and Nina more. Not in that way, get your mind out of the gutter.

Few more things I've been wondering.
Will you be made aware of the plots and whatnot that are planned for the main Angel title, in order to keep from contradicting it with the Spike series?
Other than Beck, Tok, Jeremy, Betta George, and the regular Angel cast... can you give us any hints as to what characters might be making surprise appearances in the Spike series?
Which of the starter issues and which of the ending issues were you most happy with? Least happy with?
Any times you teared up while writing "After the Fall" or any of the Spike titles?
Annnnnnd.... any more tidbits you can give us on One Bad Mother?
Thanks! Always really excited to get answers.

Few more things I've been wondering. 1. Will you be made aware of the plots and whatnot that are planned for the main Angel title, in order to keep from contradicting it with the Spike series? 2. Other than Beck, Tok, Jeremy, Betta George, and the regular Angel cast... can you give us any hints as to what characters might be making surprise appearances in the Spike series? 3. Which of the starter issues and which of the ending issues were you most happy with? Least happy with? 4. Any times you teared up while writing "After the Fall" or any of the Spike titles? 5. Annnnnnd.... any more tidbits you can give us on One Bad Mother? Thanks! Always really excited to get answers. 1. I hope so. I didn't see those ONLY HUMAN covers until they were posted here, though. I had no idea it was that far along. I think the creative team is great, though. Scott asked me all sorts of ANGEL related questions last year, he is excited by this world. 2. Some of those characters you mentioned may not be popping up in the SPIKE series. Planning the stories now, there might not be a place. I can say that the series might not be called simply "SPIKE" because I want to differentiate between this book and other SPIKE books that came before, give it it's own stamp. Something like THE ADVENTURES OF SPIKE but if you guys have any ideas, we can start a thread. 3. I think I was most happy with the ending of issue 15 and the ending of issue 17. I was least happy with the ending of the issue that revealed Gwen's betrayal. It was a good moment but it didn't click. In terms of full issues, I think my favorite "first issues" were SPIKE:SHADOW PUPPETS and SPIKE:ATF. 4. I got upset at Connor's death, for sure. Not sure if I teared up, but it was hard to write from an emotional standpoint. 5. ONE BAD MOTHER is very much unlike anything I've ever written. It's a revenge tale with some very dark humor.

Is this Angel series concurrent with Buffy Season Eight, or does it take place before Season Eight?

Oh... one thing I've always wondered...
We saw that W&H created a "glamour" that made LA seem to still be there, normally, from the outside. TV broadcasts from the city continued.
But what happened to people who tried to enter LA while it was in Hell? Or tried to make a phone call to someone specific in the city? Did W&H create some kind of Matrix-like virtual reality world to make those people think they were in LA and everything and everyone was normal?

Part of the glamour was that nobody thought of LA. Nobody wanted to go, nobody wanted to call. Whoa... that's one epic spell. The Senior Partners must be... deeply disappointed at its failure.
