I just mean that Joss was planning on doing this late series 7. It would be so out of place and the story needed to build up to the final episode, focusing on the main plot, banishing the First Evil. I would love to see Tara back, I really would but I don't like the idea of the wishes. I mean Buffy could wish for anything, a normal life for her and her friends and to banish the world of Evil. Please get what I'm saying.

Yeah but like Joss said, buffy said to willow that she had bought a pair of shoes, so clearly there weren't that many boundaries.

I really want anya to return, I don't want her to be forgotten, she was the best character on the show.
It would be great seeing cordy again, but after that emotional death in 'you're welcome', seeing her back would cheapen her death, so I'd rather she wasn't brought back.
Bringing back oz without a willow/oz ship is pointless, he left in 'new moon rising' because she didn't want to be with him, if she still doesn't he would just leave again. And its not like he ever had any chemistry with anyone other than willow.
I'd love to see glory again, I never liked the idea that ben's death meant she died too, it seems like too easy a way to kill a god. Maybe she's trapped in limbo somewhere and gets released?
As for tara, it would be nice seeing her again. But Willow is with kennedy, and if tara came back you just know they would be compelled to have some little plot about kennedy being upset or whatever, and I'd rather she wasn't featured at all than have a plot that involves her in any way, even seeing her suffer. Unless maybe they throw in some line about kennedy being killed somewhere off screen, that might be ok.

Willow has made her choice to be gay and I think it will take a lot more than wussy werewolf Oz to convert her back.

I'm not big fan of the whole "one wish" thing. I could be if it is explained well to some extent, but with what we know, I'm not big on it. Buffy was in heaven, right? When she was ripped out she was extremely sad, lonely and depressed. Tara is most likely in heaven. I don't think Buffy would want to put Tara through what she went though.
And I just don't get why it would be Tara. Sure Willow is her best friend, but so is Xander. Why not Anya? And most of all, why not Joyce? For Buffy AND for Dawn.

Hmm.. good points. Should of done a little more thinking.
I don't think that Buffy disliked Anya though, they weren't really that close but I do consider them to be friends.

Anya wasn't bad, she was always sitting on the fence between good and evil. She helped women who were hurt by men, by granting them wishes... ok sure she exagerated those wishes to improve her reputation with other demons, but she was still helping good guys and fighting bad guys. I don't think buffy ever hated her, even when she became a demon again. If anything, buffy went out of her way to be nice to anya, remember the scene at the start of Him where buffy saved anya's life? Sure they annoyed each other, but they were still friends in a weird way.

How would everyone feel if Joss did decide (I doubt it, but anythings possible!) to bring Tara back with the whole 'one wish' scenario? I think it sounded like a great idea. It wouldn't kill me but it seems redundant now as it was such a long time ago. Willow has moved on.

Which would make it all the more pivotal and interesting... Tara already came back into focus, in "The Killer in Me", and Willow let her go. There's nothing pivitol in the awkward silence of her return for me. It would only show that the comics are an excuse to re-live all the glory days of the show by digging up (literally) fan-fav characters at the expense of fresh stories. Tara's done with, and should remain that way. Amber Benson felt that way too. I don't get why anyone would want her back to suffer anyway. She's at peace, bringing her back would cause her pain in some way because Joss wont leave them happy for long, ever. Like I said somewhere else, it works better at the end of a story, like it would have in season 7's final episodes, but it's a "happy ending" which has no place in a continuing story.

I don't think you get what I'm saying. It would be cataclysmic to bring Tara back now. That's why it's such a wonderful idea. Willow's moved on, she's been on a rollercoaster adventure with Kennedy, etc. There's a big apocalypse coming. The entire government is after them now. And, ta dah...here's Tara! Willow has only moved on in the way that she has fallen in love with someone else, because Tara's not there. But if Tara WAS there all of the sudden, it'd bring all of those feelings back (or would it?!). It could go so many different ways. And I don't think that it's definite that they wouldn't get their happy ending anyways. Willow is obviously Joss' favorite character, so he's either going to kill Willow in the end to make her an icon, or he's going to give her the happy ending she deserves. I bet you, it'll be one of those two situations. My gut feeling is that Willow is going to die by the end of the series. I do get you, I just think its a crap story You're probably right about Willow.

Well there's all that buzz about Oz returning for s9, maybe he's there for her funeral?

Well there's all that buzz about Oz returning for s9, maybe he's there for her funeral? Damn that would suck. Oz is definitely coming back. Joss has confirmed this tidbit. I dunno if he'd kill Willow, or Buffy for that matter. I think of all the characters, the most likely to be killed off would be Xander, Faith, or Giles. Most likely Faith, IMO. Scott Allie stated that sometime this Season, Buffy is going to cry really really hard. I think she might be crying over the death of someone close to her. Giles, or Faith is who I am betting on. Why else would her arc be called, No Future For You?? If Faith is killed, I might even cry!

She was the character that I started watching Buffy religiously for! I hope Oz just comes back to help out in season 9 (if that's when he does return) and Buffy cries over something completely different! And I'm hoping this isn't the only Faith storyline we get! It better not be!

Lol hey welcome to the forum.
And yer i agree Tara and Willows relationship was meant to be. Well if she didn't die and all. It would be nice if she came back. But i think that Tara needed to die for Willow to become what she has become.
And would Buffy be crying really hard over Faith?? I dont think she would be. They went the best of freinds i dont feel so i dont think she would cry 'really hard' over her death if she died.

Kendra! Even though she only appeared in like 4 episodes, I totally fell in love with her character and was really sad when she died. I wanted her to stay friends with Buffy and the gang. I really hope they bring Kendra back!

If Faith is killed, I might even cry! You have me crying right now! JK, but I will cry if Faith dies. I really hope it's not Faith. If she dies I won't buy a single issue and will completely disregard the S8 comics as if they don't exist. I'd rather have Giles die, it'd have a larger impact than Faith dying and would certainly make Buffy "cry really hard."
