You have me crying right now! JK, but I will cry if Faith dies. I really hope it's not Faith. If she dies I won't buy a single issue and will completely disregard the S8 comics as if they don't exist. I'd rather have Giles die, it'd have a larger impact than Faith dying and would certainly make Buffy "cry really hard." I really hope it's not Giles. If he dies I won't buy a single issue and will completely disregard the S8 comics as if they don't exist. I'd rather have Faith die.

I voted for Tara. Anya was one of my favorite characters but she had over 1100 years of life and did some pretty horrible things over the years. Tara's death was tragic and pointless and she did not deserve to die the way she did. She had never harmed anyone in her life. She was a good person and deserves a second chance at life. I would love to see Joss' wish idea brought back in the comics.

Tara had one of the greatest deaths EVER, but I would love to see her again in the comics. She was probably my favorite character.

Glory.
I feel if its Tara or Anya then their deaths will feel cheap and just won't fit in to the comic. I would like to see em make a cameo or something, but not back to life fully and for good.
Glory would just be cool to see, like she didn't die but Ben did and now she turns into a corpse or something weird like that. I mean hello... we got Warren back, why not lil ol' Glory?

If Anya came back, her death would feel cheap: she actually died for a reason. Tara's death was an accident and really just a plot point to make Willow crazy. Zombie Glory would be pretty great, actually. I would love to see that.

I don't think a former god should come back as a zombie per se, but I'd love to see her return.

To be honest, I don't want anyone else ressurected. We've already got Warren back and for now I think that they should just leave it at that. It'll be really annoying if they bring others back, making their deaths feel pointless in a way. It's hard to explain, but I really don't want anyone else ressurected at this point. Let's just stick with Warren for now.

At this point, I honestly do not want to see Anya back. While it has been over a year since she died in Buffyverse time, we haven't seen the characters (particularly Xander) deal with her death at all. Besides making the last battle more consequential, it hasn't added anything. And bringing her back anytime soon would completely undo anything that killing her off accomplished. Maybe someday, but not yet.

1. Warren hasn't been resurrected. He was just kept "alive". 2. How would it make their deaths feel pointless? Most of the deaths on the show have done what they needed to do. It changed up the story, made characters go through significant growth, etc. Bringing someone back would ADD to the story, not take away from it. It's not as if they'd be resurrected the day after they died. It's been years. 1.) I know that, but we all thought he was dead for 5 years, so it's sort of feels like bringing someone back from the dead even if they didn't die, but we thought that they had. 2.) OK, maybe pointless was the wrong word to use, but it would make their deaths feel cheap and I wouldn't get as emotional about deaths if I knew that they could just be fully resurrected. I know that no one in the Buffyverse has to stay dead, but I don't want them to bring people back to re-live the show through the comics with dead characters returning. It's a new season, so let's have some new characters.

I think "cheapening" deaths really varies case by case. I read a lot of comics, and most resurrections are total cop-outs and really suck. Occasionally, though, it actually is a good idea. If there's actually a reason, it can work. We'll have to wait and see.

I agree, if a resurrection is going to happen it has to be done right. I mean even Spike's was done right on Angel, but I knew he was going to be on Angel when he died on Buffy so it was difficult to actually be sad about it.
On another note, I actually think it would be cool to bring back Jonathon, he was always the best of the trio and it was really sad to see him go. I dont' know if they could find a 'proper' way to bring him back though. Nevertheless I'd like to see him again.

Cordy, she has to be my all time favourite character in the Buffy/Angel world. Bar S4 which completely ruined her. When she came back in S5 (in a sense anyway) it opened her character up, I know that it has been said that her story is done but I believe a lot more can be done with her. She should come back (don't know how, that's what Joss is for ) remembering everything and only having visions, no stupid bright light shows. The first thing she should do is run into Gunn and have to fight him, Angel turns up completely shocked that she is here but all Cordy can say is: "I die on you and the whole of LA falls apart, go team!"

We should start making shirts that have Amber's face on it, that say "SAVE TARA!" They've already been made LOL. By angst ridden lesbians. Sadly this was out of hate for Joss Whedon www.cafepress.com/thekitten.14676450Personally i think that whole 'rawr i hate Joss Whedon' thing after tara died was almost embarrassing, talking as a lesbian fan myself. Like, jesus, grow up! 'She was a lesbian waaaaaaah, i'm telling! It's politically incorrect!' Some people are still really angry. I really want Tara back, but being a big crybaby about it won't get anyone anywhere. In the end it's a great show and it's not all about one character. (buuttttttt, hey, i still wantt!)

I don't want to see any of them back, to be honest. There have been enough resurrections in the 'verse as it is. But if I had to pick one, I'd go with Cordelia, since her death was anti-climatic and unnecessary -- contrary to what Joss claimed, I think there was more that could be done with her character, just not at that point in the story.
