Well, in a flashback panel in Angel After The Fall(or was it Spike After The Fall?), we see Spike in what I think is the future and I think there might have been flying cars around, so it could be Fray's time. But it could just have been a weird Illyria time wonky thing tough, not proof of Spike surviving for that long.

I'd like to thing he isn't. Living for hundreds of years without Buffy or anyone else would probably be miserable for him.
If any other characters are going to show up being alive in Fray's time, I'd want it to be Drusilla. IMO, it would be funny to see her make her delusional comments about how she's slowly becoming more and more demonic looking.

It's in "AtF" #4. And it's not necessarily an indicator that Spike survives to that era, just that Illyria's unstable power just zapped him to the future for a bit, since she's apparently able to do stuff like that.

In the Buffy Season 8 where Buffy goes into the future with Fray, the whole time I thought Dark Willow was Dru. The way she was talking and was dressed, I was convinced it was her.

They did dress similarly. Maybe Dru showing up in Fray would be too similar to FDW, but as I said, I think Dru would be funny in the future all demonic a la Kakistos.

Okay, I'm so glad someone has a thread on this because I was rereading my comics the other day and I did notice that in the time loop not only is Spike in future Fray looking times, but he's holding the slayer scythe, it's been driving me crazy, what does it mean??? lol

Just a regular ol' battleaxe.

well that explains it I suppose, but I examined that picture and it looks soo much like it, they probably should have drawn it a little different, or at least coloured it different, but who am I to talk? lol

We have two such panels of Spike in the future. The first was the one mentioned above, Spike with a scythe in an all black futuristic outfit. The other panel was in the final issue of Spike:Atf, after Spike defeated Non, we see him,Illyria and the girls in future/past panels. In the future one, we have Spike in a white shirt with black duster, flying cars in the background.
There is definitely a chance for Spike to survive long enough into Fray's time. It depends heavily in what sort of state we will see him on Buffy. I asked this question in last month's Q&A, didn't get an answer but nor did i really expect one. My observation was that Spike being a slayer expert and a powerful vampire could in theory mentor Fray who isn't connected to her slayer-heritage and just recently lost her slayer-scythe. Being that her first "watcher" was a demon, i think it would be pretty cool to have a 320y old Spike teach her everything.

It was not the (Slayer) Scythe, also with the 'End of magic' all demons and forms of magic where banished from this dimension but maybe Spike got away? lol

And magic and demons were only banished for 200years, by Fray's time they are back somehow.

I don't think all demons were banished or all magic was banished. Maybe dormant, but I doubt it was all gone and then later returned. That's because I believe in the theory that all energy can be used in magic, or be called magic, whatever (sleepy sleepy brain won't be more eloquent tonight).
And didn't Fray lose her schyte? Or do I remember wrong? Didn't Buffy smash it?

Thanks, Hallow Thorn and Kratos latest posts confused me, saying it wasn't THE schyte.
I find it highly unlikely that someone made doubles, and Buffy's present schyte and Fray's future schyte aren't the same.
Which makes me wonder, did Buffy get hers home? Or was it Fray's Buffy took home, that Future Dark Willow might have put a spell on? I mean, wasn't it that schyte that killed FDW? Maybe that means something...

Thanks, Hallow Thorn and Kratos latest posts confused me, saying it wasn't THE schyte. That was my point, that the black scythe that Spike carries in the future panel in After the fall isn't the slayer-sycthe. Buffy's scythe was the same as Fray's, it was the slayer-scythe(not Spike's black scythe). Buffy destroyed Fray's scythe. As far as we know Buffy still has her scythe and in one of the Q&A's it was mentioned that it will still play a role in season 8.

I assumed Thorn talked about the second schyte you talked about, since your post mentioned Spike's schyte AND Fray's schyte.
Now I've re-read, and see what you guys meant.

Imean we saw Spike in his Victorian times . . .
