I have a hard time watching the scene where Willow and Amy go to the warlock (Wrecked, i think) and abuse the magic as though it were drugs. This scene just hits a nerve. I've always strongly identified with Willow and the scene remind me of bad experiences I've had. I cant watch it.

Any time Willow is crying.
Why?
Because I've never seen anyone convey such genuinely raw emotion as her. She is just so incredibly real.
Alyson Hannigan will never get enough credit for her role as Willow.

Most of these seem to be that people have a hard time watching them because they're disturbing or gross.
The scene that kills me every time is in "The Body" when Buffy is telling Dawn that Joyce has died. That just hits me on such a personal level, especially now, because my best friend's mom passed of basically the same situation as Joyce did and I remember how heartbreaking it was breaking the news to my family and just to see Dawn breaking down, I can never really get through that scene now. It was hard enough originally and gosh. It's just such a depressing scene with Dawn completely breaking down and Buffy just kind of a shell, barely holding herself together.

1. Trick trying to strangle Buffy 2. The Mayor trying to smother Buffy 3. Faith trying to choke Xander 4. Dawn's cheerleading routine (which of us haven't embarrassed ourselves trying to impress our crush?) 5. Turok Han beats Buffy 6. Buffy breaks Joyce's rib 7. Buffy tells Dawn Joyce is dead 8. Spike/Buffy rape-oddly I don't so much mind her being sexually assaulted by the mutated swim team or the Shadowmen's demon but this seems so real, note Spike stays in human face throughout 9. Angelus breaks jenny's neck 10. Glory breaks Tara's hand then brainsucks her 11. Anything with Willow's horrid yellow tights 12. Dawn kicking Buffy out of the house even though it kills her inside 13. Willow skinning Warren 14. Glory brainsucking the pleading mailman and then telling her minions to remove 'that'. 15. Amanda dying

Pretty much the whole of The Body. It's just so raw. When Giles kills Ben. When Jenny is posessed by Eighon, I just can't look at that. When Anya walks down the aisle in Hells Bells after Xander leaves her. The way everyone stands up and watches, and they still play the music as if she's going to get married. It just breaks my heart. The bit in afterlife when Anya's cutting up her face with a knife, that freaks me out. When Xander gets his eye gouged out. Ouch.

I'm gonna say the scene where Spike tries to rape Buffy. Not because it is so gruesome, but I have a hard time watching it after the conversation they just had. He apologized, and she told him she did have some sort of feelings for him and it should have ended there. He should have just left her; that's why I had such a hard time watching the scene, only because it seemed like a normal conversation right before. I also had a hard time watching The Body, just because it is so raw and emotional.

I cannot watch Xander lose an eye. It squicks me out, and has resulted in horrible nightmares.

Any part of The Body. I just cannot watch that episode at all. Xander getting his eye gouged out. Any Bangel scene.

We're both just seeing the same great thing. I've just never seen anyone on any TV show or movie get as real as she does. I haven't seen much of "How I Met Your Mother" but that show must be Hannigan's vacation after playing Willow. A well-deserved one. "Heartbreaking" is probably a hell of an overused word but it fits perfectly, and that's why she's so hard to watch. That moment in "The Killer in Me" where she just completely breaks down feeling that she betrayed Tara, was a perfect example of just how great she is because when it cuts to Warren-as-Willow, Adam Busch just can't measure up when it goes back-and-forth in that whole scene. In terms of other stuff that's hard to watch for different reasons: -Buffy slamming her own head into the table in "Homecoming". That crunch sound. Yikes. It just looked as bad as it sounded. -Tara's nervous stuttering, because it hits a little too close to home. I don't stutter, but I can't talk to people very well and I get as jumbled as she does. -The Buffy / Angelus duel in "Becoming, part 2", because it looks like Buffy is fighting Xander. The Angelus stunt double in the overhead shots obviously wasn't Mike Massa, but someone else - probably a swordfighting specialist who looked just like Xander did that season. It's hard to watch and take seriously. -The sacrifice sequence in "Inside Out". With the off-kilter piano, pregnant Cordelia walking around with that knife, and taking a slice of the kidnapped girl just dragged in there by Connor. That's the most disturbing episode of that season.

Mostly every scene I have a hard time watching is listed.
-Empty Place-hands down the hardest. This scene just boils my blood.
-Dirty Girls. esp Xander losing his eye
-The demon eating Willow's skin
-When Buffy cracks Joyce's rib in The Body
-Trick strangling Buffy. I hate this scene.
-Buffy and Willow fighting in S6. I enjoyed Dark Willow until it got to that part.
-The entire episode of As You Were & Seeing Red
-Also the scene in Entropy when Xander goes to kill Spike.

As most people I am sure have said, The scene in The Body. "mommy?" Though it is one of my favorite episodes. I love Anya's speech in that episode. I also hate when Xander leaves Anya in Hells Bells.

I also hate when Dawn kicks Buffy out, I'm like, "What?!" makes me so mad. Really that whole episode does. I agree with you about Buffy and Willow fighting in S6, too. Although it is kinda cool.

Dead Man's Party (Season 3) and others but since no one else mentioned this I thought I would.
I think this is one of the first ambush we see. Friends vs. Buffy.

^ The gang-up-on Buffy scenes are always hard to watch. Poor Buff.
Although the fight in Yoko Factor was kinda funny.

Listening to fear.
Joyce acting abilities were great here, but i didn't like her face expression When she in bed and having a conversations with the Queller, it was bloody scary. Also i didn't like how she was walking downstairs whilst Buffy and Dawn were watching telly. Then she making breakfast and then quoted to Buffy "I'm making breakfast. But you shouldn't eat anymore. You're disgustingly fat". Her character was disturbing here but she did that really well, good work Joyce.
