I have lost confidence in my learning ability. At age 11 - I sat my 11+ at the end of primary education and got a high A gradde, giving me the option to join almost any secondary school. At age 14 - I sat my Key Stage 3's. I got a LEVEL 5 Science (not to bad not to good), LEVEL 6 English (quite good) and a high LEVEL 7 maths (very good and highest in my school) At age 16 - I sat my GCSE's and failed almost half. Grades = A, C, C, C, C, DD, D, E At age 16-17 - Doing my AS Subjects which shape my future most. I have already failed one, likely to fail another meaning I will only pass one. This shows that my grades are dropping every year. I started brilliantly at the begining and got worse and worse and worse If thats the case then I will pass nothing nest year and thats means no university for me

Erm, I only really ever tried with creative subjects to be honest.
I got an A in Design Tech, Product Design and Art & Design GCSEs, A-levels I got an A for Art, and a B for Product Design. Finished a foundation degree in Art & Design last year and got a level 4 distinction in that and am now doing a Fine Art degree.

I graduated 17th out of a class of 447 students...so I did pretty well. I now wish I had gone on to college.

Speaking of Exams I have 3 more. Additional Maths and History tommorow. (Oh why did I agree to take Addional Maths, I don't think I'll even get a C (which for me is super weird). And when revising Nazi Germany I felt so sick and had Nazi-esque dreams (and those are always nice... Hitler was gross))
And then I have Biology on Wednesday then I'll be DONE, BIT*HES!

Aw, PJ, I'm sure you'll do great on your exams! Do you have any after school study class things? Are these your final exams? For my standard grades I got 2's in five subjects, and in the other three I got a 3 and two 4's. (1 is high, 7 is low) I know, weird Scottish school system. The only thing I regret about my SG's is not getting a 1 in music because I'm too nervous to play infront of an examiner. For my highers I didn't do so good. I got a B, C, D, and a B. I'm happy with my B's but with the other's I really put no effort into the classes or into studying because I didn't really take them seriously. Because of that my teacher told me to leave the school, and it was too late to apply for college then so I've had a year out looking for work and I'm going to college in a few months to do a HNC/HND. It's probably good that you're worried about your grades, because now you can really try your best. You don't want to end up not caring. i don't have any exams, well not coming up yet. But it's just my grades in general. im just worried im not doing good enough. And ive got pressue that my sister got into college with a 3.6 GPA, so my parents kinda expect the same. I was in the same situation when I was a senior last year. I have two older sisters who went to this super smart technical high school with like above 4.0s and I was chillen with my like 3.5 as a dance major at an arts school. Not to mention the younger of the two got a perfect score on the math SAT and missed like 1 question on the verbal, so no pressure there. The truth is that your parents should not be comparing you to your sister, cause its really not fair. And I know its hard not to compare yourself but I find that if you focus on their negatives it really helps And when it comes to applying to college your grades are what they are and there is nothing you can do, so now its about selling yourself as you are. Your essays are reeeeally important so make sure to really put the effort in on them. Make sure they aren't cookie cutter answers and really convince the school that they need you. Also look into alternative programs at large universities that are less demanding in requirements because a lot of the time you can transfer within the university if they see that you are doing well. If you need any college advice or help you can PM me, I just went through it and made a lot of mistakes but still ended up at a great school that I love.

I graduated from High School with honors. Got mostly A's and B's. Took some AP courses that I got a C in occasionally, but it didn't hurt me too much.
And just graduated Cum Laude from college, so I'm very happy about that. Now I'm in the process of getting ready to apply to graduate schools.

I did incredibly well without any effort all the way up to sixthform (aged 16-18) where I was so used to no having to apply effort that I started failing everything. But I managed to survive the whole thing!
