If it doesn't improve next week, I wouldn't be surprised to see FOX pull it. But didn't that Reilly guy say that the ratings for Dollhouse don't really matter, and that they're looking more at DVR, iTunes, Hulu, DVD sales blah blah? Only if the show stayed consistent with its Season 1 ratings, which it currently isn't. And to that I say, crap.

i think the ratings might be low just because there was no avertisments, and it's on one of the worst days of the week, friday, which everyone goes out or something on that day(well not everyone, but alot of people).

And when its being promoted its being promoted as a stupid comedy with 2 terrible leads *facepalm* Yeah, I honestly have no idea what FOX is thinking, putting two comedies as a lead-in to a sci-fi show. They would have been better off keeping Terminator: SCC OR moving Dollhouse to a day to pair up with Fringe. Either way would have been better than these comedies.

Let's face it... the show gets rotten ratings, and there's no reason to believe that will change. With Medium and Ugly Betty to contend with, the numbers are going to probably be lower than last season. DVR, download and DVD are what got the show renewed, and that's literally all the network is paying attention to, most likely. And there it is, right at the top of the "Most Popular" list on Hulu, as usual. You can always count on "TV by the Numbers" to trash Dollhouse's ratings right there in the headline too, no matter how old-news it is. I think they feel personally offended that the show got renewed with such low numbers. Well said- The Neilsens are becoming less and less important and i think TV by The numbers does everybody a real disservice by inisting that they are the only factor any more. Best wishes, Scott

I hoped that they would get better this week. Season Two has been great so far and Instint was pretty intense. I could understand why FOX put it on Friday nights last year and I still understand why there keeping it a Fridays. But if they moved it to another weekday it could really unlock the shows potential. Its not the fact that people dont like the show, it gets low viewers because people have yet to see the show

I think its a Yay, I hope its a yay. Well it was ahead of 4 other shows and tied with one if we are looking at the 18-49 demo. That has to be something, right?

Considering that the night's top show only got a 1.9 in the 18-49 demo, it's not as bad as it would be on another night.
But still... not good for a Fox show. On CW it would probably be acceptable for a Friday show.
The next couple of episodes need to do better, somehow.

There must be some way to get people to watch it, we probably just havn't thought of it

Vows - 2.57 million and a 1.0/4 adults 18-49 rating. Instinct - 2.1 million and a 0.8/3 adults 18-49 rating. Belle Chose - 2.25 million and a 1.0/3 adults 18-49 rating.Source. Well I guess that's good.

2.25 million with a 1.0 in the 18-49 demo! They went up!

That's always good to see. Two week breaks never help though, but hopefully Summer will pull in more viewers in 3 weeks.

Still terrible, but at least moving in the right direction. This probably bought them at least 2 more episodes, since Fox will want to see if they can get a Summer Bump on her first episode.

Why is Dollhouse not on next week? To avoid clashing with the Ugly Bettys first episode of the new season? Im really annoyed at Ugly Betty moving to Fridays at 9. Dollhouse is finding it hard enough to get viewers. Putting Ugly Betty on at the same time will kill it

And I doubt Ugly Betty and Dollhouse share much of the same audience, so I wouldn't worry too much. Ugly Betty was having trouble Thursday nights, it might do as bad as Dollhouse on Friday. Southland was cancelled before it even premiered, so Dollhouse won't have to worry going up against that.

I hope Ugly Betty doesn't crash and burn on Fridays and at the same time I hope it doesn't steal any Dollhouse viewers. I heard Ugly Bettys viewers dropped to around 8million. Moving it to Friday probably will kill it. I really hope your right that it wont effect Dollhouse.

That's comforting. Every small increase counts at this crucial stage, with no back-nine bought yet. I'm so glad I just so happen to know a guy in a Nielsen house. I introduced him to Dollhouse and he loved the first season, so now he watches every Friday.
