So, throughout the entire series, which vamp-dusting was your favourite to watch?
One of mine is in 'Into the Woods', where Buffy stakes three vampires in one move. Another one is from 'Who Are You', when Faith stakes a vampire and spins him in the air

One of mine is in 'Into the Woods', where Buffy stakes three vampires in one move. I love that one too! Another favourite of mine is in All The Way when they find Dawn necking with that vamp and then all of a sudden they're surrounded by other vampires. One of them rushes at Buffy yelling "DIE SLAYER!" and Buffy just rolls her eyes and mutters "Uh-huh" as she casually stakes the vamp as he runs at her. Makes me laugh every time.

The like the dusting moment when the Angel, Willow, and Xander were all slayed in the wishverse in 'The Wish'!

Ooooh, good question.
I like the one in Into the Woods where Buffy makes short order of all the vamps in the alley and then sees the cracked out vamp whore (lol) that Riley was with, let's her go, but then as the vamp is running down the street, thinking she is making her escape, Buffy hurtles the pool cue and impales her from the back. She turns into dust before she ever sees it coming. All of Buffy's dustage in this scene was bad ass! ;D

I just think it's one of Buffy's least-noble moments. Yeah, that last vamp is completely evil and doesn't deserve any mercy, but to act as tho she's letting her go, and then dust her at the last minute like that... it's the vampire-slaying equivalent of shooting someone in the back, which has always been looked at in battles/fights as one of the most underhanded, cowardly things you can do. Buffy absolutely should have staked her, but she should have done it right away, face to face. My favorites are probably the ones where the vampires have a funny reaction just before they go poof. Like Mr. Trick's, "Oh, no--no, this isn't good at all," or Sunday putting her hands on her hips and shaking her head. Or the stoner-vamp in her gang, and his disbelieving, "Whoa!"

Well there is of course the classic vampire dusting at the end of "Going Through The Motions"
I also love the double dusting by Buffy and Faith, you know 'synchronized slaying'.
Also liked the kakistos dusting with that gigantic 'stake'. That was pretty intense.

I also like it when Buffy gets time for some kind of quip between the staking and the actual dusting. Like: "There's something you forgot about too. Sunrise." (Breaks window and stakes Luke while he cringes.) "It's in about nine hours, moron." (Luke goes poof.)

For me, nothing will ever top the slow-motion Scythe decapitation in Chosen.
Cordelia's in Graduation Day is pretty damn awesome too.

Does Spike turning to dust count? Not that I was happy that he was dying, but I love the effects of it. It reminded of the way the Vampires get dusted in Blade:Trinity.
I also like the wish one too. When Angel got dusted and Buffy just walk through it and then she slayed Xander. Powerful stuff man. So happy that's not the real Buffyverse....Or is it?
I also agree with the one from Into The Woods. The way she just threw the stick and dusted her was awesome. Ha, she really thought The Slayer was going to let her go?
One more was in Chosen. The moment where Buffy is wielding the Scythe slaying the Turok Kan and you see Chao-Ann flying in the background. So Freaking Awesome!
Oh and I can't forget about Darla sacrificing herself for her baby.

Buffy killing the vampire at the end of The Body.
Don't know about it being a favourite. But I'll never forget it.

Definitely a memorable one. The silence in that scene is horrifying.

I think when Buffy uses the broom handle to kill the 2 vamps in Lovers Walk is really cool.
But my fave would have to be Cordy getting her moment in the sun , with her one and only proper staking in Buffy , during Graduation Day pt 2.

I love the scene from Anne where the vampire is running away and Oz throws a stake... only for it to hit a rock and he just shakes his head and says, "That really never works." Also in Sleeper where Buffy pulls the women out of the ground and goes, "Sorry, ma'am, but it's my job."

Willow's pencil staking... it's not the size of the stake you wield... it's how you use it. Pretty sure Buffy staked a vamp with a No. 2 pencil once too, while studying for the SATs with Giles in a cemetery.

The Master. Such a great episode ending. I still remember my joy when I first saw it as a kid. It might not look as cool now, but it's still awesome.
Dawn dusting Justine(was that his name) in All The Way is also a favorite, because it shows her strength.
