The only stuff that ever bugs me is when I notice ADR, but then what are you gonna do? Most of the stuff you guys have mentioned never really had a problem with, except evil Cordy. ADR?

Additional Dialogue Recording. The actors get on the sound stage and just record themselves saying the lines. Sometimes it's used to dub in lines that didn't record well when shooting the scene (like rain scenes, which are a real bitca to shoot, let me tell you), sometimes it's used to convey extra information for the scene in question.

Oh, those. Very often hate those.
Seems to be hard to make those sound natural from time to time, it's noticable that they're reading from a script, not interacting with other actors. And sometimes the sound is off, it's not echoing/sounding the way it would on set, maybe have a different sound level, which isn't really the actors fault.

^^ Yes, I always hate those as well. It's so obvious when a line has been dubbed and sometimes it distracts from the scene. I understand why they need to be done, though.

Something else I hate is when the characters go:
- Then it must be... I know what's going to happen! A....
[too long pause]
-... bomb will go off!
I studied theater in high school, and we were taught never ever to let to much time go between lines in a conversation, specially not when a character was supposed to be cut off by another character, either to finish the thought or start a new one. I think our theater teacher might be needed in Hollywood.
It's just so sad, seeing the first character stop the sentence mid through and waiting to have it finished by the other character, ruining the line. It needs to be quick people!
PS. I'm not talking about the lines were the first character breaks off the line on purpose, so that the second one can figure out what he/she knows and then say it. Those reminds me of the teacher's in school. "...and that makes the answer...?" "12?" "Yes, 12."

I never liked Buffy's line in "Anne" when she asks Ken if he wants to see her impression of Gandhi.

In Go Fish when the guy says 'Dude what is that foulness?' That's so fake it makes me laugh every time I hear it.
Also I think it was in Doomed when Giles and Buffy were talking outside his apartment, he sounds more like he's narrating a nature programme than having a conversation.
I also think sometimes when they say long words it sounds like they don't understand the words they're saying. Like when you read shakespeare and haven't a clue what it means.

There were definitely a lot of wooden Angel lines in S1. I think he got better after that.

How are people forgetting "Nobody can defeat the penis!"? I think Xander was meant to sound silly. He likes his jokes.

Don't get me wrong I lime the character of Faith, but I think ED tries too hard. Especially when she's trying to act sexy. She's much better when she's more subtle.

I don't know if it's the line or the delivery, but I've always felt that it was sooo awkward when Xander says "ears like a dog" in Tabula Rasa (then again, it's probably supposed to be). I really don't think that line was necessary.

"We attack the Mayor with hummus."
God in Heaven I hate this line. I don't know if it's the actual line or the delivery, but I cringe every time I hear it.

Did she play "Faith is unintentionally sexy" wrong or "Faith is trying to be sexy" wrong? Because sometimes Faith does try hard to be sexy, and that's the point.

It's her delivery of the lines, sometimes they come off as forced, like she doesn't quite know where the beats should go and it seems unnatural. I can't get to it tonight but if you'll give me until tomorrow evening I'll put up some examples. But I do understand your point.
