It's been over a decade since I've seen that movie. I may dig it up from where ever it's at and put it on youtube. Probably. Maybe. Maybe not.

When Dru says 'But Spike, the bad teacher was going to restore Angel's soul' before Giles attacks them at the warehouse. She says it very monotone as if she knows it's just a cue

I'm watching Pangs and it threw me for a loop the first time heard Buffy tell Giles "I like my evil like I like my men, evil". The line still sorta confuses me and sounds weird coming from Buffy.

I'm watching Pangs and it threw me for a loop the first time heard Buffy tell Giles "I like my evil like I like my men, evil". The line still sorta confuses me and sounds weird coming from Buffy. I think maybe she was just referencing to the fact that the last couple of guys she went out with, Angel and Parker, they both ended up turning on her in one way or another. I mean with Angel, he literally turned evil, and with Parker, she was just a one night stand when she wanted more from him and he gave her the brush off.

I agree Angel & Parker are the ones she was most likely referring to but I still don't get the line at all. To me it sounds like Buffy is saying "I like my men evil'.

I always saw the line as just a play on words/phrases. Like the phrase, "I like my coffee black, like my men." I don't think she literally meant she likes her men evil. Characters on constantly twist words and phrases to make them different ("How very serial killer of you" "I'm peachy with a side of keen" just to name two examples out of hundreds) so it didn't stand out that much to me.

Dawn's line in OMWF, "the hardest thing about this world..." it just annoys the crap out of me for some reason

My brother would say that when the mayor is suffocating Buffy when she is in the hospital and Angel runs in and says, "don't do that." is a horribly done line. He makes fun of Buffy a lot and that just made him step it up. I guess Angel just doesn't seem concerned enough. The lind in bold makes no sense to me. He usually makes fun of Buffy when she's dying?

Most of Tara's lines when she's stuttering. Terrible.

She's quoting Buffy's final speech from "The Gift" back to her, much like she did at the end of "Bargaining, Part 2" with "Live -- for me."

My brother likes to make fun of the fact that I like to watch Buffy the vampire slayer. He keeps telling me that it's an incredibly stupid show, and he thought that Angel's "don't do that" line was laughably bad. So when he saw that he started making fun of the show even more and telling me that Angel's line was an example of bad writing and bad acting. This lead to a big argument in which I held the position, it wasn't bad writing, it was just bad acting, as i'm sure the line would have been better if Angel had sounded more concerned. So basically what my brother does is pick out parts of the show that he sees as stupid and then he makes fun of me for liking it.

Oh, I thought you meant that Angel made fun of Buffy. Not your brother.
Gotchá.
Sounds like a dumb brother. Has he ever even bothered to watch a entire episode? I dare him to watch The Body and mock it! (And if he still mocks the show after thet episode, instead of feel like crying a little bit, you know that he's either a alien or Satan, and needn't ever bother with his opinion.)

I was in the c-box earlier and someone was saying that they thought The Body wasn't written well. I wanted to screen jump and smack them!

My friend said she didn't think The Body was very realistic. We were watching it and I was crying my eyes out and she was like 'mm...no.'

The Body is the most realistic Buffy episode ever. The fact that the entire episode had no background music to heighten a scene yet we were able to still feel what every character was going through was just.....
