You don't have to, but it would be interesting.

Nah you know what I put the statement put there, I should give examples to back that up. Plus it's not good to over generalize. I have to be careful about that.

Don't worry, I won't sue. You're not more generalizing than most other posters.

Ok found some examples, I accidently deleted most Of my notes but here's the general idea, Bad girls First scene where faith asks Buffy whether or not she's slept with Zander, then grunts, just awful, another one where in Enemies, she's talkin to buffy with fake Angelus telling about how she always wanted a puppy, the lines sound rushed. There are no natural beats in them. Oh another one was in bad girls when she's talking to Buffy about them being the chosen two and she grunts again. Okay this could be bad writing, but there 's just no authenticity there. I will say though that after going through all the Faith scenes from season three, she did have some really nice moments too.

Hi everyone. I'm a VERY recently turned Buffy fanatic.
I happen to love the episode Amends. I even love the ending, which seems to bother a lot of people, but it reminds me of my favorite movie - Magnolia. And there are tons of Magnolia references in BTVS - some came before the movie (1999), like Amends -and some after. But I digress...
The way Angel says the line "Because I want you so badly" in that last dramatic scene just bugs me so much! It might even be just be the one word "badly".
SO check this out as well on your next Season 3 re-watch.
And thanks to everyone here. It makes me so happy that there are still active message boards even though the show went off the air so long ago. My first time watching (last fall) I didn't go on the net because I didn't want any spoilers but I just assumed there wouldn't be much current activity. Boy was I wrong!

In seeing red, when Spike is talking to Clem. It bothers me when Spike says the word "silicon". It sounds to me like he loses the accent there, and it bothers me every time I hear it. Does anyone else feel that way or is this just me and my lack of familiarity with how people pronounce the word "silicon" with different accents?

In "Tough Love" when Ben is having his little rant to himself/Glory in the locker room about Glory ruining his life. When he is about to change and he's sayign "I'm Ben, I'm Ben", I cringe cos he acts so wooden :S

Xander's little speech from Passion. Xander: I'm sorry, but let's not forget that I hated Angel long before you guys jumped on the bandwagon. So I think I deserve a little something for not saying 'I told you so' long before now. And if Giles wants to go after the, uh, fiend that murdered his girlfriend, I say, 'Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!' Yes. Very, very yes.

for some reason Sarah's acting is really off in Fool for Love. I think that's what makes this episode so unwatchable. The bad acting is apparent in the scene in which buffy confronts spike outside of the bronze. I think that the scene is badly written and that Sarah probably felt awkward about it.
Has anyone else noticed this? James masters is ok in this scene, Sarah just seems very off-ish.

Def "When you kiss me I want to die." I thought it was brought very unnatural/ Definately. Too overblown and sentimental but i guess that's what the writers wanted to portray.

^^ I really hope that was suppose to sound overdramatic and teenager-like. Like Dawn's "get out!", or any teen saying "I hate you all, you don't understand me".

In Chosen when Caleb says to Buffy "Are you ready to finish this, bi*ch?" always sounds so weird and hilarious to me. I guess it's the way he said the last word that threw it off.

^^ I think that line is suppose to bug people. It's the less mature, more annoying, way of saying that you wish people would leave you alone.

My brother would say that when the mayor is suffocating Buffy when she is in the hospital and Angel runs in and says, "don't do that." is a horribly done line. He makes fun of Buffy a lot and that just made him step it up. I guess Angel just doesn't seem concerned enough.

Def "When you kiss me I want to die." I thought it was brought very unnatural/ Definately. Too overblown and sentimental but i guess that's what the writers wanted to portray. I started watching Buffy during season 6 I spent the summer catching up before the premiere of season 7. Then I got to this seen and I just remember thinking 'Damn that's deep.' It crushed all of my little Spuffy fantasies. If she said something like that to Spike I would have lost my mind, but she didn't. I hated that she loved Angel that much. I personally didn't think it sound fake coming from SMG. It definitely sounded loving in a psychotic way coming from Buffy. Edit - Every time Dawn does that 'Get Out' line I have a flashback moment to Harriet the Spy. You have to see that movie. She did that line exactly the same.

I was hoping someone would have put up a YouTube clip with the two mashed together, since I have no particular desire to see Harriet the Spy (even if it does have Michelle Trachtenberg and a screenplay by Doug Petrie), but no luck...
