Bucket List

We all have things we want to do in our lifetimes. So, I thought it would be fun to share some of those things with each other.


I'll start.

Some of the things I want to do in my lifetime are . . .

1. Meet Joss Whedon
2. go to Italy
3. publish a book
4. go to Alaska
5. get my PhD.


And that is just a few things on my "bucket list"

I don't really have a bucket list, as I know I'll never accomplish it, but some things are:

1) Visit Germany, which is where my grandparents are from
2) Publish a novel (a vampire one that's better than Twilight)
3) Have a secure financial future and therefore a decent job
4) Skydiving at least once
5) Have my own house

This is an interesting thread.

1) Go to Japan and/or France and/or Venice, Italy
2) Own (or rent, it doesn't matter) a super fancy condo with a seaside view in (a nice part of) San Francisco
3) To love love (I've always hated it and it's stupid...ness)
4) Publish a children's book
5) To look back on my life and think, "That was worth it," instead of "What a waste of time."

1) Go to a WrestleMania.
2) Get married in Italy or on a beach.
3) Go to every Disney Theme Park.
4) Write a successful book series.
5) Be a successful artist.
6) Meet Tim Burton, Johnny Deppy and other idols of mine.
7) See popular landmarks (Hollywood Sign, Big Ben, Eiffel Tower, etc)

Interesting idea for a thread. Some of mine are:

1). Fall in love and get married
2). Visit Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Scotland, and some other places.
3). Go to Hollywood, New York, and other places in the U.S.
4). Go to college (can't afford it right now, but I eventually want to go)
5). Get a career in geology (I've been interested in it for as long as I can remember)
6). Write a book
7). Meet some famous people that I've admired (Joss Whedon, Peter Jackson, William Fichtner, Stephen King, etc.)
8). Have enough money that I won't have to worry about bills. Not necessarily be rich, but have enough where it takes away the worry.
9). Become a paranormal investigator. I've always had a strong interest in the paranormal, and I would love to be able to investigate locations myself.

There are other things, but those are the main ones.

2. Fall in love and stay that way. (Marriage is optional.)
3. Live in Hawaii for a year. (Or more.)
4. Write a novel. (Publishing is optional.)
5. Travel to every continent. (Except Antarctica.)
6. Make a difference through volunteering.
7. Get the highest level of education in my major. (Masters, phd, whatever it is.)
8. Meet some of the famous people I admire. (Jack Johnson, Emma Watson, Joss Whedon, etc.)
9. Go cliff diving.
10. Learn to surf. (I'll need something to do in Hawaii.)
11. Be happy in my job. As long as it pays the bills.
12. Have a kid. And adopt one.
13. Decrease my carbon footprint.
14. Get arrested.
15. Go on a cross-country road trip.
16. Get a tattoo.
17. Go camping every summer.
18. Be healthy. (In exercise + diet.)
19. Visit the Harry Potter theme park.
20. Join the Peace Corps.
21. Visit a Redwood forest.

Everyone's list seems pretty realistic, except winning the lottery of course. I don't really have any big things in mind, but rather goals for my life.

1. Finish my AA and then get my BA in Art.
2. Have a career that makes me happy, utilizes my talent, and doesn't feel like a job.
3. Own a place of my own.
4. Meet a nice guy and maybe get married.
5. Adopt many more dogs in my lifetime.
6. Go camping and fishing regularly (assuming I like it, never done it).

*Travel to all the other continents. Visit France again, go to California(LA), New York, London again, Germany, Sidney(Australia), Rome. And hopefully more.
*Eat the american food and candy I keep seeing at TV (for example twinkies).
*Publish a book/comic.
*Fall in love.
*Have fantastic sex.
*Find a passion and make a career out of it.
*Parachuting
*Canoeing (I just had a chance to do that but didn't have the money)
*Scuba dive/Deep sea diving
*Visit Disneyworld
*Visit Sea World
*Visit that Harry Potter theme park. Parks and rides of any kind are on the list.
*Swim with great white sharks (I'll be in some sort of cage under water)
*Swim with dolphins
*Get a tattoo
*Study abroad
*Write a long Buffy fanfiction, that I finished and can actually brag about

I should probably add to this list for a few weeks, print it out, then start to actually do these things, or atleast set up goals. It would be awesome to be able to check off the list and look back at the things I've actually acomplished. Kind of sad, if I have a complete list and one day only have a few items left. What to do then?

If I don't have kids myself I'd like to have a lasting effect on a child and who they become as an adult (if that makes sense).

It would be kind of awkward if I kept the list, got a boyfriend, who then found it.
