. Get a History degree . . .
. From Oxford
. Spend a year in the USA
. Spend a year in France
. Improve my French until I'm totally bilingual
. Get a pHD in History
. Get a job as a lecturer of History at a top ten University
. Have a Tiffany's diamond engagement ring
. Have a beautiful wedding by the beach
. Own a Lexus
. Be on one of the sci-fi shows I love so much (I reckon I'd make a great Amelia Broadway when True Blood hits season 6 and I'll be pretty much old enough by then)
. Stay in touch with at least a few of the friends I have at the moment
. Be happy and healthy

Yeah. One of my best friends and I started meeting up with this girl and her roommate over summer last year to learn. I picked it up pretty quickly, but I wouldn't call myself fluent. It's a whole lot of fun though. Plus you don't have to worry about having bad pronunciation.

^^ I used to be fluent in Sign language because I had a deaf friend, but then she moved away and I didn't have anyone else to practice with, so I have forgotten a lot of it over the years. I need to refresh myself on it.

Actually, I think it's possible to have bad pronuncation, since we can do the signs wrong. *in know-it-all-mood* Of course, my Swedish sign language teacher said people can have different accents too. I guess one could blame that.

All my deaf friends have told me that they don't really care when hearing people mess up signs because they're just so happy that they're are putting in the effort to learn in the first place. Also with ASL there's this weird thing where it's really grammatically different from english... like there's no 'the' or 'that'.. it's a weird adjustment. But it does have accents in the sense that the signs for words change a bit based on location, they're still similar though... ok I'm tapped
