And for number two, I'm not exactly sure what I am. I know I'm not straight, but...I prefer men more than women, though I do have crushes on some females. It's so weird. It's like...I don't want to have sexual interactions with females, but with males. I don't want to kiss women, but men. But I think both females and males are hot...Confusing, huh. I don't think that's too unusual. I am comfortable with my sexuality and I'm straight. I have no interest in getting it on with a guy. I do, however, recognize when a guy is attractive. I think alot of people are afraid to admit that, especially men, because they think it will "Threaten their manliness"

I really hate it when people assume that because someone isn't religious they have no morals. It annoys me because it reflects badly on everyone, it says either you have no morals or you only have morals because you believe you will be punished if you do something wrong. Personally my morals come from an urge to have a happy life and encourage others to have a happy life, they have nothing to do with the fact that I believe in God.
I hate when people assume that if someone's bisexual then they must be really promiscuous and go out with anyone. Also when people think that if someone is gay they must find ALL men attractive. It's so annoying! No matter what your sexuality is you will still only find certain people attractive.

All musicians are stoners. We're not, thank you. A lot of us are workaholics though. :/

I hate it when people assume I am religious just because I am judgmental.

Omg, Billie and Eric. I laughed so hard. A lot of people think I'm a lesbian (even the guy I have a fatty crush who is well aware of my feelings for him thinks I'm a lesbian--I'm not even kidding). It's kind of weird. I find it pretty funny though, lol. With family members it's kind of annoying though because they suspect it because I never mention guys I'm attracted to or dating to them. But my reasons for that have nothing to do with my orientation.

I have one bisexual best friend and there were rumours that we were dating (even though I said I was straight) so... the two of us walked all around the school. Hand in hand.
Good times.

I hate that now because of all these girls who pretend to be bisexual to get guys attention everyone now assumes that all bisexual women are out for attention and willing to do anything. Like every time someone talks to my bisexual friend and she mentions that she's got a girlfriend they're always all like 'ooh can I join you?'

^^This is so true, my friend's girlfriend has a tshirt that says "yes we are and no you can't watch" I told a male friend of mine that I dated a girl years ago and he suddenly got so unbelievably interested in the relationship, like "oooh really wow what was it like, that is amazing" etc. His reaction is never so excitable when I mention I have dated men.....

I think it's kind of funny that this thread began with a reply of 'why is it only centered around LGBT', and the majority of replies are about just that.
Here's one: I am biracial - half black half white. People assume that means I like hip-hop music. Truth be told, I despise it. That's part of the reason I dress the way I do - I don't dress in the stereotypical baggy pants, oversized T-shirt with a crooked cap and a chain. I dress, well, kind of like Angel. Beyond that I do like his style and I'm always wearing a long coat.
Another stereotype:
In high school I was never, ever bullied. Everyone avoided me for one simple reason: I was quiet and kept to myself. What's the stereotype? Those are apparently the types to bring guns to school and try to kill students.
My last day of school this guy - big as all-hell guy walked up to me and said to me that despite the fact that he was twice my size and I looked somewhat vulnerable he never once thought to mess with me because of that stereotype.
Thing is I never hated anyone in high school or even had those kinds of thoughts. I never saw him again after that until maybe four, five months later when I went to visit him...in a funeral home. Guy got himself shot and dumped into a field over a bad drug deal. I saw him at his wake, didn't say anything, just looked at him. He was dressed in a nice suit and looked like he was sleeping. His father came up to me and asked if I was a friend and I said no, but he was nice to me once and it stayed with me. Didn't go to the funeral itself because it seemed inappropriate.
Kind of went off on a tangent there....
I observed a gay stereotype recently:
Outside a department store there was a short girl who was dressed in guy's clothing. Another girl walked up to her and said 'mind if I ask you a personal question?' and the question was indeed "are you gay?" and the reply was no. That was the end of it.

People always assume that I'm gay just because I'm passionate about gay rights.

I thnk sometimes people assume that because i'm black i cant like rock music and metal. Also i think that people judge me because they just cant work me out. Also, i hate it when people typify you. For example, because my boyfriend happens to be white that makes me automatically 'into white guys' as opposed to anything else.

My biggest issue with being bisexual is the stereotype that it's not true. With men, people assume they're really gay and afraid to admit it, and with women, people assume we want to be trendy, or we had something happen to us making us afraid of men. The truth is, both happen, but that doesn't mean bisexuality doesn't exist, or that we're just confused or undecided. No matter who I end up with I'll always be bisexual, it doesn't mean I've 'chosen', it means I've chosen the person I want to spend my life with. My 'chosen' sexuality is simply bisexual.
