Can any of these actors actually do a fight scene on their own? Watched the fight scene from Five by Five and the part where Angel swings Faith around and punches her twice, before slinging her into the couch is all done by a stuntman, when it could have been done by the actor. If you watch closely, the stuntman's face pops into the screen just as he punches Faith the first time and you can tell it's not DB

^They have to have loads of extra health and safety measures if they do their own stunts. It's much easier for most actors just to have stunt people do it all.

I thought I heard that Eliza does most of her own stunts. Am I wrong?
... but a thing that bugs me. In "A New World," 3.20, while Angel and Connor are fighting Tyke (the drug dealer), Tyke tries to use Connor as a human shield. Angel says, "take me." This gives Angel a chance to impress Connor with his nobility. Only one problem ... Connor has super powers. That Tyke could get him into that posture, just not believable.
Another thing. In Sunnydale, Angel has a startling collection of priceless Chinese antiquities in his lair. Where were those objects when he was eating rats in alleys? For that matter, where did they go when he moved to LA? I don't remember seeing them at the Hyperion Hotel. Does anyone?

In seaon 4 when they caged Angelus. I know they were doing a lot of work on the cage, but uh, when it came down to it, it still was metal bars. And didn't Buffy bend those like butter in season 6? And Angelus nearly bested her in battle a couple of times. So, vampire strength, why not simply bend the cage?

Not that I find it odd, even if they are expensive. He choose to live on the street, to punish himself. He's never seemed unable to make money when he needed to.

I though that much of the post season 3 Angel was disappointing and farfetched but the final episode of Angel was a huge letdown for me. I hated the way it ended just before the fight. So many things didn't make sense about the episode.

I thought I heard that Eliza does most of her own stunts. Am I wrong? Gotta respect an actor/actress who do their own stunts or most of them anyway. Makes it more realistic

It's much easier to do your own stunts for films but TV schedules are way too tight to allow for it. Doubles are often handled quite well, but yeah sometimes no so much.
There is some terrible editing in "Heartthrob", in the fight scene on the street where Angel/Wes/Gunn attack Elizabeth and her vamp gang in the car. Wes stakes a vamp with his pointed bat and it dusts off-screen (sound effect) but in many of the following shots you can still see them wrestling. I found it really noticable.

I don't know if it's been mentioned or not, but I love how Gunn and Gwen's relationship or whatever you want to call it is a apparently non-existent after Players.

Lol. Yeah a relationship is a bit much. I remember when I first saw this episode thinking we were going to see a lot more Gwen.

I hate it when people refer to the show as "Angel: The Series".

I hate it when people refer to the show as "Angel: The Series". Yeah I never exactly got the need for an AtS abbreviaton. It's only two letters shorter than just typing out Angel. I think I'm probably guilty of doing AtS though once or twice just in discussions that were already doing it. I guess maybe people just like differentiating the discussion of the show versus the character.

It stands for Angel The Series, If you search google for just Angel, you will come up with the heavenly Angels... however if you search for Angel The Series you will come up with things more closely related to our Angel...
