Yeah. Though I wonder if I'd have made it this long without the internet. I think I would've eventually given up on reading the comics without people to talk about them with. I might have stopped during the Twilight arc since that got me royally pissed off and upset.
The internet's made me into a comics marathon runner--reader--whatever. The point is y'all are feeding my addiction.
I blame this on the weakness of our species.

One day delay due to the Thanksgiving holiday last week. Due to a nonworking Thursday, the packing of the books got pushed back a day, meaning that delivery is also a day late. For most. It's possible that some people may still get their books today. Okay thanks, I forgot this Too bad, I can't wait to know what happens.

I personally wouldn't have been obsessed with BtVS at all without the net -and I'm not talking about how I got into the verse because I was addicted to Xander/Spike fanfiction before actually watching the show.
No, I mean it would have been just a fun show and that's it, like all the other shows that I watched and forgot about once they were done. Fan fiction, fan discussions and fanvids kept this verse alive for me.

I'm sure the Internet has been great for fandom... before it, pretty much all we had was letter columns and conventions, and maybe "fanzines" for the biggest fandoms.
But the spoiler aspect is a definite drawback.

Buffy and X-Files were the first really big fandoms on the Internets. We're all culpable in the death of [the enjoyment of] the story. I'm headed to the shop on Saturday, so I'm on a two-day delay. Kinda excited to see how people react, though. It's sure to be a monster reaction. Like, "Grr, argh!" but with more intensity. And shrimp. And "Smoke on the Wind"... or "Candle in the Wind"... there'll be a general wind theme...

Okay, I think I'm anticipating this a little too much now - I definitely remember having a dream last night that I was reading the issue and started crying because one of the characters died. I woke up thinking it was pretty strange - still do!

Could you please make sure to post spoilers in spoiler tags? If you don't know how to, here's how:

Also, please edit your post to be more legible.

It was legible enough, unfortunately. Oh well. I knew some Canadian or other would get me today.

Again, they went out of their way to setup Xander as the one who destroys the Seed. I just don't buy that he has nothing to do with it.

Kind of disappointingly predictable, if true, actually.
