Allan my real name, and if you'd care about my age, well you can check the profile, since I'm way older than the average BtVS fan. Based on my screen name one could presume I'm a pretty big Tara fan and Willow fan, too. Screen name you might have seen other places, Essence of Amber forum, and Plan C Kittens in its day. I wandered in here because of the Slayer Lit group, and I know Alyrenee IRL. I got to be a BtVS fan because of AtS, that's not very usual; however, AtS caught me into the whole Joss Whedon being a writer god thing. ABout one year ago I started a local yahoo group for BtVS/AtS fans in the Chicago area, Buffy fans Chicago, then in July the Organizer of the Buffy Chicago meetup asked me to be the Asst. Organizer of the meetup. I'm a big fan of Veronica Mars and Battlstar Galactica, I like Bones, HIMYM and CSI, too. But none of it captures my heart like BtVS did and still does. My fandom does not start and end with BtVS; therefore, I'm a regular convention to the local SF and Fantasy scene. At these conventions we sometimes have organized discussion sessions that talk about Buffy and Whendonverses in general. Sorry for being so long and boring in this message.

Hey all,
My real name is Tim (othy). I am 14 years old and live in Indiana.
My first ever episode of Buffy was the second half of Spiral. I then started watching the reruns on FX every weekday morning, and at midnight on saturday evenings on UPN. My fav episode is Once More With Feeling, closely followed by School Hard. I own all of the seasons.
I only saw a few episodes of Angel before it ended. I own all of the seasons and my favorite episode is either Smile Time, or all of the episodes with Illyria.
I rarely watched Smallville on the WB, but I now own seasons 1-3. I've only seen most of the 1st season of BONES, but loved it and I want to buy the 1st season. I absolutly LOVE How I Met Your Mother! I have missed a few weeks this season, but on April 30th, my school librarian's daughter is going to be on it. She was taping an episode of The Price is Right the same day they taped the HIMYM episode where Barney is a contestant (April 30th). I LOVE Heroes! I also like Crossing Jordan and Law and Order and Medium... basically everything NBC! I watch Deal or No Deal (did anyone see last night's episode with the two cases holding 1mil?).
I own the Angel soundtrack, The Buffy Soundtrack, The Musical Soundtrack, and Radio Sunnydale. I am obsessed w/ SMG! over 200 pics on my wall!
My first Buffy novel I read was one of the older ones, with the stone template. I interviewed Nancy Holder for an extra credit project i came up with in 7th grade. It was an amazing interview! Really long! And from that I started Buffy and Angel: The Authors (search Yahoo!). I have more interviews on the YGroup than the site, and if anyone that I have spoken to would like to be a mod on the group, I would love some help!
My favorite book is Queen of the Slayers by Nancy Holder, followed by The Lost Slayer Series by Christopher Golden. I am a major fan of the Harry Potter series ( 2 will die in the end).
I just finished a book report over Joss Whedon: The Genius Behind Buffy where I had to talk to the class as if I was Joss.
Something I don't usually tell is that I can get very depressed some times, especially with my aunt who was really close to me out of my life at the moment.
Thanks 4 reading!

Right, I am Paul (scullow here and on BTVS), 50 (hence the old fart bit), which will make me the oldest person on this board too. I live in South Ockendon, Essex, UK which is just to the east of London. I love TV and have recently rediscovered my love for reading since I have changed jobs and now have more time to read:-). My mother taught me to read before I went to school and the first real book I read was War of the Worlds by H G Wells and I have been a confirmed Sci-Fi nut ever since.
My favourite TV shows are Angel & Buffy,DS9, Babylon5, M.A.S.H., NYPD Blue, Red Dwarf, Northern Exposure, Firefly, all the versions of CSI, especially the original, Eureka, Torchwood, Dr. Who, Bones, Mythbusters, American Chopper, any programme about No-Limit Texas Hole-Em, Las Vegas. I love TV shows which are slightly left field with a warped sense of humour and also aimed at adults which is why I prefer Angel to Buffy (do I get banned now???) and Torchwood to Dr. Who. I read Sci-Fi, Azimov, Heinlein, Niven, Pournelle and more. I read horror by the coffin load. I used to read everything Stephen King published. I love Dean R Koontz. I recently raided ebay for the complete set of the Amtrak Wars by Patrick Tilley and wrote to his publisher to ask when book 7 was coming out and was stunned when I got an email from the Author himself. I also read war fiction, I know, bad me, and have recently rebought the complete works of Sven Hassel about a German Penal Regiment in WW2 which comprised of a bunch of loveable rogues. I also read some non fiction too, Al Capone and various other criminal types, they tend to have more exciting lives than normal people. I am happily divorced. Have two children and two Grandkids now. When my son phoned me and said, "dad, are you sitting down?" I replied "when is it due?". He never ceases to be amazed that I know stuff. I asked him "did you have safe sex like I said in our talks?" His answer is priceless, "SOMETIMES". You can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink. Thats not what I said at the time but its a lot less rude. Sorry for taking up so much time. I'll stop now.
Finest Kind.
Shiney.

Well, here is my piece: My name is Chris and i'm 18. I used to live in UK but moved to Canada in August 2003. I started high school a few months in (October I think). It was OK, but was not as good as my old school. The teachers were nice, but hey we all need an education. Since then, I've graduated and I am now in 1st of college. I went straight in -- no breaks no nothing. Its easier; trust me having time off and not studying and just messing around in the summer is great, but its not going to pay the bills when you're older I am taking Chemistry as my major, and i LOVE it. It is hard sometimes as this semester is learning new stuff and developing what we did last semester. 2nd year i have organic, physical chemitry and some others.... Not really too excited about the Organic but I'm going to read some background info on it before I start again after the summer. The program is 3 years, and there are LOADS of opportunities after. I'm (hopefully) going to university for either my biology-chem degree, or just my chem degree. If i chose the bio type, I have to take a short summer class to be accepted into the bio programs etc. Well, that is school, now on to work. I work at a place called TIM HORTONS. Its a coffee shop, just like Starbucks -- just only way cheaper lol. www.timhortons.com ... I have been working there for over a year now, and I'm a trainer. I get to train all the new people that come to the different stores. Its an OK for a college student..... takes a 3 min drive and most of the people are nice. The money that I get from this goes straight into my account. Some is saved for college etc and the other is just there for speing if I ever go out. College for me is almost $3000 for the first year, and then about $2600 for the other two. This include all my books, tuition parking etc etc. I have to save like crazy for it, but I know that my parents are proud of me for paying for it by myself

Well my turn I guess...... I am Tommie and I live in Winston Salem North Carolina. I am 31 and been with my partner for 7 years today. (woot) I didnt watch Buffy while it was on the air, start it about 2 years ago. I was hooked right off the bat. I started collecting the figures which turned in to sideshow and then props and then all things buffy. As far as work I dont, I am disablied but I have a few people that help me out. I love movies and music. I have 3 salt water fish tanks one of them is a reef tank. I dont have kids but 2 wonderful pets they are my version of kids a rat terrier dog named Phoebe and cat named Opal. I did few years back raise all type of birds but since my health not as good I stopped that and at this point dont have any birds I miss them at times. Well enough of my rantings. Thanks for reading Tommie

My name is James, 19, I live in Anaheim, Ca (which is close enough to the OC to say I'm from it, but not close enough to live anything like that) I work as an accountant for Target, which isn't as good as it sounds, but I have my own office. Hey hey hey. As far as long term career goals, I want to be a professional wrestler, stand up comedian, or reality television star. I just can't do school, I hate it.
Celebrities I like: Nicole Richie, Kendra Wilkinson, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton.
Guys I think are hot: Josh Duhmall, Johnny Knoxville, Wentworth Miller, but the grandaddy of them all is Chris Carabba. He makes me weak in the knees he's so good looking.
My favorte bands are Dashboard Confessional, Third Eye Blind and Death Cab For Cutie.
I drink and sing karaoke every friday night at El Torito, come on down and see me some time.
I've been a sort of Buffy fan from the beginning of the TV series (I was one of those people who called Giles "Guy-ells") but got hardcore into it in the sixth season. Since then it opened up a pandoras box and I've seen every episode, have all the DVDs, most of the figures (I'm only missing like 10) and am pretty broke all the time.

Hi
My name is Alison, I am 28 and I live with my husband and 8 month year old baby. I live in England, Watcher central lol. I work as a staff nurse but my main job is looking after my little - well big - well very big baby. He was big born and weighs as much as his 18month year old cousin! I like Buffy, Heroes, Prison Break, Charmed, Girls next door, Blade the series, Lost, Criminal Minds, Supernatural. I am in love Wentworth Miller and I am quite partial to Jensen Ackles and David Boreanaz! I used to collect Buffy figs a few years ago but I lost my passion for it, so I sold most of them, the last few I have are in the Loft. Cant think of anything else much more to say...well actually I can but I bet your all bored now!

Howdy, My name's Aaron, I'm 25 and I live in Australia. I enjoy long walks along the beach, sunsets and picnics. But when I'm not trying to be sarcastic, I do a lot of reading, I love to write: whether it be songs or poetry or short stories. I love my video games, I'll probably never grow out of them, I like playing a bit of tennis, swimming, and of course, watching the boob tube. My buffy obsession started around season 3, I had a fair bit of catching up to do, but I loved every minute of it. Got a message on myspace and now I'm here. Nice to meet y'all

Hey guys! I figured my first post here at SlayAlive should be an introduction, so here I am... I'm known most around these parts for my administrative job over at BtVSFigs, the brother-site to this forum, so a lot of you probably know me already. However, for those of you that don't, my name is Chad. I'm a 20-year-old college student living in the sunny state of Florida. I'm having a blast in college! I just finished my sophomore year, which was a very exciting and eventful one. I'm a brother of Tau Kappa Epsilon (the best fraternity in the world) and a member of my university's co-ed cheerleading squad (yes, I'm a cheerleader - and just to clarify, I'm a straight cheerleader). I'm very sarcastic, and I love to laugh and make other people laugh, too. My family and friends are my world - I love them all. There's a lot more to know about me, but I can't type everything for you here in this thread. To get a little more information about me, head over to my myspace: www.myspace.com/chadmichaelkinney. Also, you are all free to send me an IM via AIM. My screenname is CMK1887. Thanks, guys! It's great to be a part of SlayAlive! -CMK

It doesn't seem like anyone's introduced themselves in a while...
So I guess I'll go! Hello everyone, my name is Dave (the Vampire Slayer), or just Dave. I'm from Connecticut, and I've been a fan of Buffy since Season 3. I've been a member of the "brother-site" BTVSfigs for years and have developed some close frendships there. I hope to do the same here, this place seems really fun and I've only just joined. Oh, also, I'm only 15. I figured I'd post it in my intro since people usually don't know/believe me when I tell them. It's true! Heh.

Well, just that one time during the 100 Question LIVE Buffy Trivia Contest.
