Official Introduce Yourself Thread!You know the drill! I'll start it off. Hey everyone, I'm sure you might know a little bit about me already. But if you don't, my name is Philip. I have been a Buffy fan since day one, I'm talkin' from the feature film days!! Anyway I got into the figures eventually which led me to BtVSFigs. When that got ridiculous I decided to start my own, so I could RUN that issshhhh!! Personality wise I don't like people's BS, although I do find gossip interesting! I try to make things lively and fun for the people I am around. In day to day life I hold a full time job, hang with my pals and go out on weekends. I'm pretty creative and I am very into art of all forms. I love music, and I love Gwen Stefani and She-Ra. My favorite Disney movie is The Little Mermaid, I'm lactose intolerant so I can't drink milk or have any dairy. It's so evil! My outlook on life changes daily. I'm mean to you if you are mean to me. I like to have the last word. And I always have a back up plan. A plan B. I don't take orders very well, and I like to work and get things done. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, and trying to live healthy. I always have to look my best! Recently I signed with a model management company called OneSource. Since then I have had a few gigs including background work on the HBO shows Entourage, and a new show coming soon called, John From Cincinnati starring a bunch of people! My interests are: never having to do this again (hehe), ghost-ridin the whip, making out, working out, diet coke, carbs, music, trends, friends, fun, family, dancing, health, money, and enlightenment. That's me in a nutshell, I think... Lastly, I ain't no hollaback girl. -Phil

oh my turn... Alyrenee.. which is a combo of my first and middle names. I am a costume designer and makeup artist for the theatre and i live in Chicago. I have a BA in theatre from Knox College and an MFA in Costume Design from Carnegie Mellon. I have been dating an actor/writer named Brian for nearly two years. we live near wrigley field. I work in the costume shop at a community college doing the costumes and makeup. I freelance in chicago and I am a member of Strawdog Theatre Company at www.strawdog.org. I watched Buffy from the beginning...movie too. I started collecting figures in 2000 and was a member of the MAC forum and so on. I customize action figures and dolls. I also play the buffy card game www.buffyccg.com. I have buffy/angel podcast called Undead America undeadamerica.blogspot.com. i have three billion other hobbies as well and often have insomnia.... |

The name's Matt, I'm 22 and juuuuust like Aly, I'm from Illinois! I'm actually just outside of Chicago but I usually just tell people I'm from Chicago because it's much easier than saying "just outside of Chicago."
Besides Buffy and Angel, some of my favorite TV viewing habits right now include WWE, One Tree Hill, Smallville and Veronica Mars.
I'm currently working to obtain a license in massage therapy and at the moment, I work the front desk as a salesperson at a local spa.
Really, I'm just like any other 22 year old guy. Friends, music, movies...I love it all. Whatever's fun, I'm totally there.

Well, I think a few of you might know me... I'm formerly known as 'Taloom' on some boards. My [real] name is Tracy, but I really prefer to go by Mary or Mary Jane (long story no one probably wants to hear)
Anyways, I'm 15, turning 16 this Wednesday. And I've loved BtVS and Angel ever since I was a wee one; I think I was like 5 or 6 years old when Buffy started...
I love music, and listen to it all the time. My favourite movies are The Nightmare Before Christmas, Serenity, Shaun of the Dead, and A Clockwork Orange. On TV I'm currently watching Grey's Anatomy, Bones, Supernatural, Battlestar Galactica and a few others.
Um... I can't really think of what else to say xD

My turn, *cackles*... Jsebold87-Mix of my first, last name, and the year I was born in. My name is Jess, and I'm from Wisconsin. I'm 19, will be 20 in less than a month. I'm really into customizing figures, I most enjoy making Buffy TVS and Angel ones. But I've also done ones from a lot of different tv shows/movies/celebrities. I unfortunately didn't watch Buffy from the beginning, my first episode was "Bad Eggs" I believe... I still haven't seen the original movie yet, but I will soon. My favorite tv shows are: Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Smallville, 24, and all the CSI's. I'm also a big movie and music nut as well. My favorite movie right now is Slither, Nathan Fillion is so damn hot! lol ;D I also enjoy reading. Big Harry Potter fan here, lol  -Jess |

Ok, I feel like the old lady of the group. I'm 37 and a married mother of two boys, ages 12 and 13. I live in Kentucky. I work for an at home telemarketing service. Whenever you call in to order something from the tv, it might be me you're talking to! I found Buffy because my best friend was really into it. I didn't start watching until the 6th season. I love Buffy, but I'm an even bigger fan of Angel. My favorite tv shows are Supernatural, Angel, Buffy, X-Files, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Grey's Anatomy, CSI: Original, Lost, Veronica Mars, and House. I'm a HUGE fan of Def Leppard. I've seen them 28 times in concert. I even loaned them a t-shirt to use in their video for "Now." As a thank you, I was given free tickets to a concert, and I was invited backstage to their dressing room for a private meet-n-greet. It was so awesome. You can see a pic of my husband and I backstage with the band at my Def Lepaprd website, www.beckyslepspot.com . I have met them a few times before and after that. I also manage the first and largest Def Leppard mailing group, LepNet. |

Ok, I don't really like doing these, but hey.
I'm David, 17 and from Scotland. I left school last year and now work in one of the call centers for HM Revenue & Customs. Yeah, very exciting I know.......
I first noticed Buffy just before Season 6 started over here, saw the trailer which showed Buffy in the coffin coming back to life, thought it look cool. After that i kind of forgot about it all and never saw the episode. I was flicking through channels and saw OMWF and thought it was cheesy, so never watched it. The first time I really watched a full episode was when they aired Chosen and after that I wanted to see the rest.
Other faviourite shows are Angel, Alias, Friends, Firefly, Charmed, Tru Calling, Supernatural, Veronica Mars, desperate Housewives and Family Guy. I do like more than that but those are my best.
I am also really into movies and music. Horror movies are the best and I love rock music.

Me next!! My name is Jon...unless you ask Matt. Then it is Jonald McDonald I go by BuffyFanOne on a few other forums and i can also be found as GwenFan_1 and KateFan_1. I am obsessed with Buffy and have been sence I saw the movie in theaters when I was but a wee child. I remember seeing an add for the first season and I got so excited that I made my mom post it on postit notes all over the house so everyone could help me remember to watch the first episode. Sometimes I feel liek I am the only Buffy fan in Michigan. I can NEVER find Buffy merch in my local area and I do not know one solitary Buffy fan around here aside from my self. I have been collecting the figures sence day one. I have a 100% complete MAC collection but I still have a few holes in my DST collection. I also collect No Doubt/ Gwen Stefani memorabilia. I am currently collecting a massive amount of Gwen Stefani store displays. they are my pride and joy I also draw, paint, and customize. My real passion is fashion design though. My name is Erin, I go by firerancher on a lot of forums or my nickname Rin sometimes. I thought it was time for a change, and since this is new and exciting, why the hell not start here?
I'm from Kentucky, too...just like Becky. We Kentucky gals love our Buffy and Angel...lol. I'll be 24 in March (first day of spring, yay), and I have my Bachelor's in English Linguistics (though I can't keep a steady job...grrr...). I'm looking to go back to school (I hope Marshall University...we'll hear from them soon) to eventually finish with my doctorate, so that I can teach college. I would be one of those cool English professors that talks about Buffy and brings in comic books for writing assignments. LOL. Plus, I just like the sound of Dr. Erin...it has a nice ring.

Anyways, I'm a fan since the Kristy Swanson days (my first girl crush, so of course I loved the movie), and it only grew from there. When the show came on, it as no longer about Buffy but Willow. It's been all about Willow for me since we first saw her on the steps of Sunnydale High all those years ago...

Well.. My name is Samantha, some people i know call me Sam and online i'm known as Sammie (how creative).
I'm 20 and from The Netherlands, i still live at home with my mom, my 2 cats and my dog Tara.
I've been a Buffy fan since about 2001, probably. I started watching the daily reruns so i've seen most of it in the right order, i had never seen the movie before so it was totally new for me.
Willow was my favorite character from the very beginning, and my first ship was Willow/Xander (thought they were so cute). Later on my ship was Willow/Tara and instead of just one favorite character, i had 3 (Will, Dawn and Tara).
About me personally, well.. i don't like to tell too much about my personal life, so i won't.
I can try to describe myself a bit though, i would say i'm open minded, friendly, a bit shy, lazy, slightly paranoid, a geek and an introvert. I like to think i'm funny as well.. but i'm not sure on that one.
Apart from that.. well, just try to get to know me and judge for yourself!

I'm 18. I describe myself as a fun person. I get along with MOSTLY everyone, unless I really dont like you, then we probably wont get alot. I sometimes reject the unfamiliar. I can be the nicest person you'll ever meet, or I can be the meanest, you choose which side you want to be on...
Ive been watching Buffy since the beginning. I dont really collect alot of stuff, I have the figures, and the 12" dolls and some customs that I've made.
