I'm 17 but i turn 18 in about 3 weeks, i live in England, Sheffield not the best place to live, its over run by chavs which arnt the nicest of people.
Iv been at college for 2 years now studying art and design, but next term ill be studying fashion for two years till (well I'm hoping) i got to Uni to do Fashion.

Erm i started watching Buffy when it first started, when i was seven and well I'm still hooked. My life's not that interesting really to talk about. I guess the Buffy cookie speech is kinda the way i feel about my life, but I'm only 17 got plenty of time left i hope.
I'm the admin of a Buffy RPG what i made a few months back, it was the first and only rpg iv made I'm not like other people who make about 30 different rpg, i like to concentrate on just the one so i can make it as best i can,

Hi my name is Pesk, I'm another brit. I'm on a few other buffy forums but I've never been to BTVSfigs, in fact I don't even know where to find it.

I've been watching buffy from the beginning, some of my fav show are buffy, angel (which I actually prefer to buffy), farscape, mash, cheers, the new dr who, scrubs, smallville, monk, and any of the comedy shows on adult swim. I watch too much tv.


My favourite jossverse characters are illyria, harmony and anya, and my fav food is pizza.

My name's Daniel, I'm *mumbles*-years-old, and am lost somewhere in one of the five New England states (Connecticut doesn't count).

I've been a BtVS/AtS fan since 2002, and a FF fan since 2005. Favorite characters are Faith, Spike, Dawn (yeah, I know--go figure), Wes, and Illyria. Favorite current shows include "Jericho", "Lost", and "Ghost Hunters". Musically, I'll listen to everything from Alan Jackson and Garth Brooks to Disturbed and Rage Against the Machine, and pretty much anything in-between.

I just found this site, and registered because I've been looking since issue #1 came out for a good forum to dicuss S8 on, and this one looks to be hands-down the best I've seen.

Hey, guys. I just joined up and thought I'd do the intro things first. My name's Rob and I'm 32 from Lincolnshire in the UK. Been a Joss fan since I was lucky enough to have my Saturday night plans cancelled and ended up staying in and catching the very first episode of Buffy on Sky One way back when it first aired. Needless to say that I never missed an episode of it or Angel right through to Not Fade Away. So the moral of that story is that sometimes it's a good thing when a mate lets you down and you don't go out.

Apart from all things Whedon I'm also into rock music in a big way. I'm an all-genres kinda rock fan. Anything from metal to punk, grunge to goth or emo to screamo is fine by me, depending on how I'm feeling that day. Today started in a My Chemical Romance place and currently has me listening to Slipknot. Change is good, hehe.

Well, anything else anyone wants to know, feel free to ask. Unless it's my credit card details.

My name is Adam, and I've finally made the trek over here from the BTVSFigs Forum.

For those that don't know me from the other forum, I'm a 27-year-old "Buffy" fanatic from Manchester, CT.

I didn't watch "Buffy" when it was on the air, but bought Season 1 on DVD in January of 2005, and by May of 2005 I'd seen the whole series.

I bought my first Buffy collectibles in April of 2005 (my first figure was "New Moon Rising" Tara) and I've been going crazy ever since. If you'd like, feel free to visit my web site where I have the entirety of my collection on display, organized in easy-to-manage categories (I'm almost as obsessed with order as I am with "Buffy").

When I'm not obsessing over "Buffy" (or Sarah Michelle Gellar, Eliza Dushku, Alyson Hannigan, Charisma Carpenter or any of my other favorite women of Sunnydale), I'm working for ESPN as a Studio Researcher, primarily on SportsCenter. It's my dream job -- outside of being a writer on whatever Joss Whedon's next project may be.

Speaking of writing, I do some of that occasionally. I'm working on a comic book and a novel, which I hope to have finished some time soon.

My name's Kate and I'm 26 years old. I live in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan and work in Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan Medical Center.

I started watching Buffy during reruns between the 5th and 6th season and I've been hooked ever since. I used to be an avid collector of all things Buffy but lately I've turned to only collecting customs.

I love watching movies (I currently have over 800 DVD's) and playing the online game World of Warcraft, which I'm hopelessly addicted to.

My favorite bands are Disturbed and Sevendust. In the mornings while I drive to work, I listen to Dane Cook; gotta start my mornings with a laugh ;D

My name is Zach and I'm 20. Going to school in Montreal and working towards my degree in Food Science.
I've been a huge fan of Buffy since I was 11. At around 14-15 I began collecting figures and joined the Moore forum shortly before it was closed down. Then I joined BtvsFigs shortly after it was established. I was a fairly active member, but my interest has waned in the past few years. I was a fairly active member and went by Demonslayer212...but thats such an old screen name, time for change. I stopped collecting the figures after the Spike/Darla line as due to the declining quality.
I've visited this forum quite a few times to check out the comic section. I've read the first five but then decided to wait and buy the TPB as I hate how short each issue is and all the ads. But I don't know how much longer I can resist. I'm thinking of picking up the first 2 Faith issues this week and get the next two when the 4th comes out.
Buffy used to be my obsession, but after being off the air it became something I just liked. I have been slowly making my way through the series with a friend who never saw the show (took us almost two years!), and we had a 9 episode marathon to the series finale this weekend. I felt like Buffy died all over again, but my obsession returned, which is the main reason for joining this forum. BtvsFigs seems pretty dead so I figure why not try this one out.

Oh, I'll start at this is an awesome board. I just think it takes a special kind of fan to talk about Buffy, comics, and action figures. (Those smileys kinda annoy me.) Speaking of action figures, I'm not new to the DST game, although as of current I only have FHT and Chosen Faith, Demon Giles, and Chosen Willow just shipped. (Yay. Lol.)

Abby, 25, currently lurking about in Virginia but born and raised an Okie.

I have a B.A. in English Literature that is currently (not) being put to use in the religious non-profit adminstrative field. I'm working on getting my ass back into grad school sometime in the near future in order to become a YA librarian and corrupt the minds of encourage teens to read the heaps of quality literature emerging in the YA field.

I buy lots of beautiful and impractical shoes. I like single-malt scotch and coffee, both in great quantities and sometimes together. I will buy absolutely anything written, produced, directed, and/or mentioned by Joss Whedon. I'm a presidential campaign season junkie; election years are basically my Super Bowl (which you can read about here: www.xanga.com/abbylyne). I road-trip for Shakespeare, especially Julius Caesar. I also Contra Dance.

I saw the Buffy movie in the theater and also pretty much every time it came on cable between 1993 and 2001. I have an unhealthy attachment to my 6-disc DVD sets of Buffy and secretly live in fear of wearing them out and not being able to replace them with anything but those stupid slim cases. And yet I can't stop watching them and lending them to people who express interest in Buffy but "just aren't sure if they'll like it." I think we can all see the catch-22 inherent in this situation.
