I really like Jane Espenson too, the way she writes willow's dialogue is pretty much awesome! She really does have a great sense of humor

Oh yeah sorry got mixed up with writers and issues: The Long Way Home & The Chain Issues 1-5: Joss Whedon No Future For You Issues 6-9: Brian K. Vaughan Anywhere But Here & A Beautiful Sunset: Joss Whedon Wolves At The Gate Issues 12-15: Drew Goddard Buffy and Fray arc Issues 15-19: Joss Whedon Unknown Standalone Issue 20: Jeph Loeb Unknown Arc Issues 21-30: A combination of Jane Espenson, Doug Petrie, Drew Greenberg, Jim Krueger and one other TBA Unknown Arc Issues 31-35: Brad Meltzer (four / five issues TBA) Unknown Arc (Season Finale) Issues 36-40: Joss Whedon The arc which spans issues 21-30 seems too long, IMO. I hope they break it up.

21-30 isn't one single arc. There's five standalones from 21-25, written by Espenson, Petrie, etc., and then an arc from 26-30 that doesn't have a writer assigned yet.

Where did you get this information? It was mentioned in an interview with Joss and in another interview with Scott Allie. Both were posted here about a month ago, so they should be easy to find.

In one of those interviews with Scott Allie he just didn't mention him. He was the TBD writer. I really hope we get another Buffy writer, preferably Marti Noxon for the 26 - 30 arc and I still hope David Fury and Rebecca Rand Kirshner contribute something, maybe one of them can do a standalone issue between Brad Meltzer and Joss Whedon if Brad Meltzer just writes the four issues, then the other can do a standalone for issue 30 if the 26 - 29 issues make a four part arc.

He's not I mentioned a while back that Georges is taking a break and we will get someone else now we know that it is the same guy who done ***POTENTIAL SPOILER*** Fray as she will be featured in issues 16-19 so Georges will be back for issue 20 which is another 4 issue arc written by Joss Whedon. I truly, truly hope that Karl Moline does the variants!! I love his art in Fray!

I would have liked it if Karl Moline did the variant covers for his issues, I don't see the point in Georges doing the variant covers for issues he didn't even pencil.

Practice for likenesses, maybe? His Kennedy needs it. PS: Shouldn't this be discussed in the other thread?

Can it really be that there isn't a preview for this issue yet? Feels like it's getting late... almost 3 weeks till due!

I wish Dark Horse would have a definate date for previews instead of making us drool over when we're going to get one. Sometimes it's a few months before, sometimes it's the day after the newest issue came out and sometimes it's the day before. It sucks. I want some Dawnzilla!

Yeah I'm getting really frustrated, I need my preview damnit, I need something new to talk about! lol You are not alone, and I think that's the idea... keep you starved for more. Have to say though, that they are really behind this time around. The last round, the preview was up around the same time as #12 was released. Unless they figure that the cover images function as enough of a spoiler. How many ways can a giant stomp a city anyway?
