I'm currently reading Mischief by Charlotte Armstrong. This is the first book I've read of hers and its really good. She was a popular author in the 60's until her death. She wrote mysteries similar to Mary Higgins Clark, who is one of my favorite authors. If you enjoy mysteries like I do give Charlotte Armstrong a try.

I just finished SMALLVILLE: Dragon a few days ago. I'm reading the Death of Superman comic at the moment. It probably sounds like I am a major superman fan, but I'm not at all. I only have seen the first three seasons of Smallville where as I own all seasons of Buffy and Angel.

Hannibal Rising by Thomas Harris. I love (?) the character of Lecter and was curious to find out what made him the man he became. I read all the previous books before seeing the films and am doing it again now, Dont shoot me but Hopkins is not my favourite Lecter. Brian Cox in Manhunter I found to be more, if possible, evil. Just over half way through and loving it.

Funny you should mention a Brian Cox as evil. My father is a very, very evil person and his name is Brian Cox. If anyone knows a man who is bald, possibly fat, and knows a lot about phones, please PM me. I haven't seen him in 5 years and he left his job 2 years ago to hide from paying child support when it was raised.

Sad what lengths some people will go to in avoiding basic responsibilities, eh?

Sorry about your dad. I doubt it makes you feel better, but as far as I know, my dad could be dead to. I wish he was.

I am about to start reading The Ruins. I just ordered it from Amazon. The authors name isn't coming to me at the moment.
It is about a group of hikers who get lost and mass carnage ensues! The book is writen by the same author as A Simple Plan.
The reviews were overwhelmingly positive when it was released and I havebeen dying to read it but I wanted it in paperback. I finally gave in and ordered the hard cover.
I hope it is as creapy as it is rumored to be. A book hasn't frightned me sence I don't even know when so I am really hoping to get a scare from this one!!
Has anyone read it yet??

I'm reading "A-Z Encyclopedia of Serial Killers"
to me this book is awesome, I seem to like weird things like this because I like true crime.

stephen king is my favourite author so naturally Im LOVING this book.

the shining salems lot pet semetary insomnia carrie nightmares and dreamscapes
and now the tommyknockers...which as I said is just frigging awesome....I seldom get freaked out by films and never by books but this book is geniunely chilling...the way all the towns peoples teeth are all falling out....urgh...freaks me out. I just keep imagining all these toothless freaky townspeople all reading each others minds etc....chilling.

I have never read tommyknockers but I always hear about it in Lost boards. Apparently there is a theory that Lost has connections to the themes of Tommyknockers.

I've become a huge Lois McMaster Bujold fan. I was hooked into her writing through the Curse of Chalion, a great novel BTW. Then I moved to her Vorkosigan books. I started with Cordelia's Honor, which is an omnibus edition of Shards of Honor and Barrayar, then I read Young Miles, an omnibus of Warrior's Apprentice, Mountains of Mourning, and The Vor Game. Now I'm reading [/u]Cetaganda[/u]. All her writing is so good.

Now I'm mixed up and confused in my reading. I finished The Remaining Sunlight, then started UNSEEN trilogy. Now, my comics written by Joss have come into the library. What to do? ME NEED HELP. Not the mental kind.

"I am Legend" by Richard matheson. I read that book last year. Great! I can't wait to see the movie. I just finished 'The Old Man And The Sea' by Ernest Hemingway. I like to throw in a classic here and there. Now I'm reading Zodiac Unmasked by Robert Graysmith. I'm a bit of a true crime nut.
