I know it's a tough choice, but I would have to pick Buffy itself as being the best series.

really hard but i had to go with buffy i fell in love with the show when i was little and i still love it now its just an amazing show  also it took be a bit longer to get into angel and firefly |

In the poll, I voted for "Angel" to even it out, because I feel BtVS and AtS tie as his best shows.

I love buffy. I haven't gotten to see all the firefly eps yet (i know, i know...hey I got the series, just haven;t had a chance to watch them all) and though I did love angel, it was no where near as good as buffy...

I've always liked Angel more.
I think I just Identify with him more then Buffy.
plus I liked the show's darker tone and all the action.

I chose Buffy, it was the show I first fell in love with and its part of the reason why I liked Angel. Maybe if Angel had kept going for another season I might feel differently - it just kept getting better and better.
Sidebar story: I just started rewatching Angel S5 with my cousin (who's never seen any buffy or angel episodes) and during 'Damage' he was like 'is buffy gonna come on this show then?' and i said 'unfortunately no'. He said 'that sucks.'
and yes it did suck

I voted Angel.
I have always liked it more.
Don't get me wrong I love Buffy but Angel is just more my type of show.

I cant decide, Angel and Buffy are just one big thing for me, its like choosing your favourite child or something, it cant be done! Somedays I love Angel more, other Buffy... Its too hard to decide.

Firefly could have been his best if it wasn't cut short. Angel has a few problems in the middle but starts and ends brilliantly. Buffy starts slowly, gets great, gets shite, then ends.
Angel > Firefly >>> Buffy
I voted Angel.

Buffy. It's what hooked me on Joss in the first place. Angel and Firefly are WAY up there, higher in the stratosphere than any other show I've ever seen, but Buffy comes out on top for me.

As a series, I went with Firefly. It packs so much stuff into it's short running time, that it hardly has any room for mistakes, where as Buffy and Angel were both riddled with stupid problems at one point or another.

As a series, I went with Firefly. It packs so much stuff into it's short running time, that it hardly has any room for mistakes, where as Buffy and Angel were both riddled with stupid problems at one point or another. Good for you. I prefer Firefly over Angel just a tiny bit for this reason. But I think Buffy beats them both, so... Yeah. Firefly got one vote at least. I wasn't sure if it would. |

Based on the whole I'd have to say Angel
In Buffy's best years it's the greatest TV show ever, but its weaker moments are its downfall in my decision.
Angel however is strong all the way through IMO, getting better and better as time went on

I also come to the conclusion as Angel superior, as a few years ago I watched all 254 episodes of Buffy & Angel over several months, and when I was done with each ep I gave them a score out of 5
Based on total scores, divided by averages, Angel scored slightly higher, thus...

The two shows compliment each other. What one lacks the other is great in. I find it difficult to choose.

This was a difficult choice,but for me Angel has a slight edge over Buffy.Both shows had strengths and weaknesses[as everything in life does] but I felt that the weakness of Buffy stood out more than it did on Angel.
I've never seen Firefly,but they are on my Netflix list
