It's been all about Wolverine since the first movie; this one just made it that more obvious by killing off the other romantic interest in the first 15-minutes or so. Cyclops has been completely abused in the trilogy, Storm... they can't even get her hair right, and Rogue... a very far cry from her awesome character. But hey... if we're gonna continue down this road... PM me.  |

Random observation: Dark Willow doesnt seem angry. And if Buffy was truly being attacked by Willow, id expect something more from her facial expression. Now i do think its just Willow goes temp dark to bring Buffy back. But then, Joss wouldnt throw in a dark Willow image for no reason, even if its JUST that she turns to dark to bring B back. Theres got to be something more to it.

Maybe she is just doing some powerful magic. Plot complications could arise there. You remember when Willow gave Angel his soul back in season 2? Sometimes it takes a lot out of her, and perhaps if it's a spell powerful enough to make her eyes go dark, we might be seeing some non-evil Willow drama. Still not convinced either way, just thought I'd toss that out there.

OMGOSH THE ENEMY IS WILLOW AND ALSO IN WILLOWS EYE YOU CAN SEE BUFFY'S PAIN BUT DIDNT ROBIN SAY BUFFY WAS GOIN TO BE BETRAYED FROM "ANYWHERE BUT HERE" BY A CLOSE FRIEND ??  It's never explicitly stated that it's a close friend that betrays Buffy. The quote reads "Betrayal. The closest, the most unexpected". At which point, I'd like to point out that Willow isn't exactly the "most unexpected". Buffy asks her point blank three panels later, "Is it you?" So much for unexpected. Also, could you possibly not type in all caps? It just reads like you're screaming. I get it, you're excited. The "OMGOSH" gave it away. i was SCREAMING. ur complaining over a stupid typo get over your self |

If you want to get personal, then I'll state frankly, no, I wasn't complaining about a typo, because, remarkably, that was one of your more intelligible posts. I could complain about your lack of punctuation. But I didn't (until now).
My post was essentially addressing your claim that it's Willow who betrays Buffy. The "complaint" was a sidebar.
So get over YOURSELF. And no, I wasn't screaming.

Random thought.
With Illryias flash forward of what seemed like Spike in Frays time.
And the last issue commenting on Buffy's most important men, being lurks.
And with *spoilers for issue 21* harm returning from Angel.
It seems like Joss is beginning to merge the characters back into Buffy? Think were gona get a spike cameo in issue 19?

Err, yeah, 'cause Spike wasn't in a separate series at that point. ;] Seriously, though, I think Spike is brought up so often these days because he has more unfinished business with Buffy than Angel does; we're not even sure if she knows he's alive. But I figure that Joss will cross Spike and Angel over in the same issue, so he can spread out the fanservice. |

So in terms of continuity, it should be spike, especially as we know Angel gets Shanshu, so wont even be alive in Frays time. Spike will. And im sure i read that Joss "wants to bring back some of the characters that originated from Buffy back into BS8" this could start and END with harmony, but i hope not. |

I'm all for the Buffy and Angel cross-over, when it happens but if we are going to include characters into the mix, I sure hope we start with characters from BTVS. Like say, Giles.
I mean come on, his absence is becoming painful.
Brian Lynch says that he believes Buffy probably already knows Spike is alive, which isn't surprising, since Andrew knows.
At this point I'd prefer to see Buffy somehow cross-over to ATS to help Angel out, when the time is right.

I'm really looking forward to this issue. I think a lot is going to go down and it's really going to shape the story to come. Only 17 days. Hopefully it's not delayed.
