I don't think anyone was denying Willow's potential bisexuality. A couple of us have made the argument that Willow has stated that she was "gay" a few times in S6 and 7 because she identified with being homosexual at that point in time. So yeah, I think most of us understand what it means to be bisexual.
There is no way that one can discount the intensity of Willow's feelings for Oz back in the day. However, aside from the football jacket guy in "Him", Willow hasn't shown any interest in guys since Oz. All a few of us have stated is that it is unlikely that Willow is currently into guys (hence, identifying herself as "gay", rather than "bisexual"). As for whether or not complications may arise, I guess we'll see. Kennedy is more likely to be jealous than anything, so yeah, complications. Just in case this is all confusing to you, Willow has shown an interest in boys before, but currently, she identifies herself as "gay". For the case to be made that she's truly bisexual right now, she would have to show an interest in guys. Maybe Oz will do this, or maybe he's just back. No romantic dalliances.

It's not being narrow minded, it's stating a fact. Yes Oz and Willow were in love, but when she met Tara she had a sexual awakening, and realised she was gay. That's often how it happens in the real world (people realise in general i mean, they don't all get with Tara). She has lost interest in guys, it's mentioned several times. For one she chooses Tara over Oz in "New Moon Rising", in "Him" being in love with RJ isn't enough she plans to turn him into a woman, in "The Killer In Me" she identifies as being a lesbian and in "The Long Way Home" she says she 'doesn't truck with the stubbly crowd'. There are bisexuals in the Buffyverse, but Willow isn't one of them. Even from a writer's stand point it wouldn't be interesting to pursue, Buffy has already experimented this season and the issue of fluid sexuality has been explored many times in Buffy already. She definately will still have feelings for him, but platonic ones.
on a les militant sounding note i'm looking forward to seeing if Satsu is over Buffy. x

Well, some of my friends are bisexual and I talked about this with them. From what I understood it's just very hard for a guy for example to come back to girls after having relationships with guys because then it raises a lot of questions for the next girl one would date. It's just uncomfortable so it's easier to stick to guys. It doesn't necessarily mean you've lost interest for girls. It's just more convenient once you've crossed the line. I am kind of bisexual myself, although I'm more into girls. I don't think anything will ever change the fact I like both guys and girls. It just doesn't make sense to me that all of a sudden you completely stop being attracted to guys or girls because you met someone.
The fact Willow identifies herself as gay doesn't mean she really stopped being attracted to guys. It's just that she decided to give up on them!

"giving up" on a gender is not what being gay is about. i had a couple of girlfriends before i realised i was gay. Willow had one boyfriend before she realised she was. being gay isnt the same as being bisexual. To keep this buffy related, i'll mention "Him" again, Willow was under a love spell and if she was attracted to RJ in any way she would've come up with a zany plan like the others did. but she is only attracted to women, so she tried to turn him into one.

Willow was under a love spell and if she was attracted to RJ in any way she would've come up with a zany plan like the others did. but she is only attracted to women, so she tried to turn him into one. Since love-spells tend to make you acting irrational, maybe Willow only thought that RJ needed to be gay because that's how she thinks of herself. As gay. She could still be in denial about her bi-ness. I'm not betting on it, but it's possible. We don't know if she'd bi or gay, if she was entirely straight until Tara, is she will be attacted to a guy again or not. Just because she says she's gay, doesn't mean that she can't be in denial. And even if she's 100%gay now doesn't mean she will be in a year.

i love Oz, and if he came back into the buffyverse and him and willow got back together, i'd probably love it. However, i dont think the time is right in the comics and a lot of their relationship was kinda cutesy charm which im not sure would work as well now. it may not be the popular opinion but i much prefered Oz and Willow to Willow and Tara. Or Kennedy for that matter. However, Willow and another female character, which i feel is the most likely event if Kennedy and Willow split, i'm fine with. Just give her a few more brain cells than kennedy. Sexuality isn't really as issue with it to me but yeah, i do feel Willow identifies more fully as gay than bisexual atm.

With the plans that Joss always has years in advance, I think the whole "a part of me feels like I will always be waiting for you" line from Willow is actually supposed to mean something.
Maybe Willows relationship with Kennedy is supposed to clue her in on this.

Preview[/u] is up at TFAW.com. Click here for the spoils. The art actually looks pretty brilliant... and I'm pretty excited to see Satsu again. Jeanty's Kennedy looks better (than his work on the #16 variant cover).

Sweet! Yay for more bratty Kennedy! The back and forth between the two is great. I like Jeanty's Kennedy, the likeness isn't perfect, but for some reason it works. Really excited for this issue now.

Ah! This is so great! The best preview we've had in a while. It's so funny and Kennedy/Satsu are really playing the naughty sex vibe.
"It was more than a dip. It was a plunge. A big, wet --" Hehe!
And that panel of Satsu putting on her lip gloss - Hot! Wow, I'm very excited for this issue. Kennedy and Satsu have some amazing verbal chemistry.
I'll say it again - DeKnight is DeAwesome!

I caved as well. I liked the preview and the exchange between the slayers. Satsu seems a bit whiny now, compared to her conversation with Buffy. She seemed so understanding at the conclusion of Wolves. So it's a bit odd that she is still caught up with Buffy...
Sadly, if you painted Kennedy's hair yellow, she'd look like Jeanty's Buffy. But, I am glad that he's back and putting out great art. Maybe in future issues he'll nail the likeness better.

Yay! Satsu! I love seeing her!
The Kennedy/Satsu banter was cute! Jeanty's Kennedy is good, but I think I prefer Cliff Richard's. His was spot on. I'm just glad Karl isn't here. TOYL kind of runied this series for me, but I may give it a chance. I haven't bought/read an issue is TOYL2. : (

Jeez. All slayers ever do is yell and complain. I would hate to be Xander when its that time of the month.
That demon was huge, just like the ones in The Long Way Home 1 and Anywhere But Here. The slayers have really stepped up in the skills department. I remember the old days when taking on a nest of vampires was a challenge.

Pretty good preview. I am loving Kennedy's dialogue. I wouldn't think Satsu would still be so hung over Buffy, but I am going with it as it was obviously written that way to serve her banter with Satsu. I am looking forward to seeing those little creatures unleashed.

A lot of people keep saying this but remember that Satsu was in love with Buffy. Her getting over it so easily would make it appear like her love wasn't genuine. Of course, she's still hung up on Buffy. It takes time to get over someone. I think Satsu was just putting up a brave front for Buffy during WatG, but now she's showing her hurt feelings.
