I assumed tha Ripper will be a movie that sands alone, but may also act as a pilot. I doubt Joss will want to commit to a series though. He's an all-new impatient person as seen at SDCC, he seems to want to do everything he can as quick as possible and move on.

Would be potentially fun, but Doherty is a prick and would delay filming. No joke. He's like never been on time for his concerts and is constantly in court. I'm mostly disgusted that people still call Whedon "Josh".

OK, I'm gonna sound like a spoil sport and BIG HUGE killjoy. Put my vote in two categories, bouncing with joy and glee if this happens, and HUGELY skeptical it will ever happen. Despite what Joss said at SD comicbookshow, I'm still skeptical. FWIW, I think the original concept was to be about Giles life before joining the Council and beccoming Buffy's watcher, if it's to be Rupert Giles after the collapse of Sunnydale, well what's that all about we already know that story because it's in season 8 comics.
FYI, Fox Studios should never be allowed near this project EVER! For example, consider what Fox Studios did to the 1996 Dr. Who movie as a sample of what their involvement can do.

I'm unsure to if Pete will be a good actor even if he will be a flesh eating zombie I'm still stuck to if he can act or even be not on drugs for filming!

They are filming it only a month before it airs? That makes me scared.
And Pete Doherty? Ugh. I hate that crackhead. I would never want someone like that even associated with the Buffyverse. Please tell me its a joke. Hopefully it is and Pete can stay home and play with his crack kittens.
